I’ve been seeing this more in the wedding industry lately and that is: couples choosing to skip the traditional β€œgetting ready” coverage. This to create space for what really matters: connection. Just saving that time for friends and family only. And using that hour of time elsewhere for photos in their wedding timeline.

As one of my brides recently said, β€œTbh, when will I actually look back on photos of my dress hanging on a door?” And honestly, I agreed with her.

Remember: It’s your day, not a photoshoot. If you’d rather use that time to be present, breathe, or grab extra portraits with your partner, do it. Your timeline should serve you, not the other way around.
