A beautiful Nova Scotia wedding day from Hubbards to Halifax. 🤍

We are so excited to share a first sneak peek from this incredibly beautiful wedding day!

The celebration began with a heartfelt ceremony at Black Harbour Distillers in Hubbards, followed by wedding portraits around Bishop Park overlooking Hubbards Cove, before heading into Halifax for photographs amongst the gorgeous greenery and timeless scenery of the Halifax Public Gardens.

We absolutely love wedding days like this, where every location adds another piece to the story. From the relaxed coastal character of Hubbards to the elegant gardens in downtown Halifax, there was such a beautiful variety of backdrops for these two.

This wide environmental portrait from the Halifax Public Gardens is one of our early favourites. Rather than focusing only on the couple, we wanted to capture them within the incredible surroundings and give the photograph that romantic, editorial feeling we love.

And this is only the beginning… we have so much more from this wedding to share. ❤️

A beautiful summer wedding at Tangled Garden in Grand Pré. 🌿💍

There is something incredibly romantic about photographing a wedding surrounded by gardens, greenery and the natural beauty of Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley.

This beautiful couple celebrated their day at Tangled Garden in Grand Pré, and everywhere we turned there seemed to be another gorgeous little corner for photographs. From the intricate details of the bride's gown and beautiful bouquet to quiet portraits tucked among the gardens, this wedding had such a warm and intimate feeling.

We absolutely love documenting weddings that allow couples to simply enjoy their day while we capture the genuine moments, beautiful details and portraits that tell their story.

There is something special about having the whole family together. 💙🌊

We had such a wonderful time photographing this beautiful family at Mill Cove Beach, just outside Hubbards, Nova Scotia. With the ocean behind them, the rocky South Shore coastline and a gorgeous summer day, it was the perfect setting for updating their family photographs.

And sessions like this are about so much more than getting everyone to look at the camera. They're about capturing parents with their children, grandparents with their grandchildren, siblings together, and all those relationships that change far too quickly.

The dramatic clouds, soft evening light and natural coastal scenery created such a beautiful atmosphere for this couple’s engagement portraits. From romantic moments among the beach grass to relaxed photographs along the boardwalk, their connection came through naturally throughout the entire session.

Crystal Crescent Beach is one of our favourite locations for engagement photography near Halifax, offering an incredible combination of ocean views, sandy beaches, coastal grasses and beautiful golden-hour light.

A little sneak peek from a truly special engagement session at beautiful Beach Meadows near Liverpool, Nova Scotia. 🌊💍

We do not get to photograph at this peaceful South Shore location very often, which made this session feel even more memorable. With the waves rolling onto the beach, the dramatic coastal sky and almost the entire shoreline to ourselves, it was the perfect setting for this couple to relax, have fun and simply enjoy being together.

Their connection came through so naturally, and this romantic moment beside the ocean was one of our favourites from the evening. We cannot wait to share more from their Beach Meadows engagement session.

Oceanside Family Session at Bayswater Beach 🌊

There is something truly special about photographing a family beside the ocean. This beautiful session at Bayswater Beach Provincial Park, just outside Chester, Nova Scotia, was filled with gentle waves, sandy toes, quiet moments and plenty of natural connection.

From a little one holding her parents’ hands as they walked along the beach path to sweet mother-and-daughter moments at the water’s edge, every photograph tells part of their family story. We also captured a few relaxed portraits among the beach grass, creating a gallery that feels warm, genuine and timeless.

Bayswater Beach is one of our favourite South Shore locations for family photography. Its beautiful shoreline, open ocean views and natural coastal scenery make it the perfect setting for candid family memories.
