Meet Kirsten and her horse, Crimson — a team who've built a strong partnership through dedication and patience. Kirsten had a strong showing at this year's Icebreaker earning Reserve AQHA Amateur Hi-Point, and she was awarded an AQHA Region One Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship — a wonderful recognition of her final youth season.

What's one lesson your horse has taught you?
💬 𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝:
"Over the years my horse has taught me so many life lessons. One that sticks out to me is to not get frustrated when something doesn't work right away. Progress takes a lot of repetition and patience, staying in the arena long after everyone has left so you can focus on just you and your horse. When it does eventually work out, it's the best feeling in the world!"
Our horses have an incredible way of teaching us lessons that reach far beyond the show ring. Patience, perseverance, and trusting the process often become some of our greatest achievements. 💛🐴
