Where the Okavango once separated, Mohembo Bridge now unites.

Its tusks rise above the river like a gentle giant, connecting the eastern and western Panhandle while honouring the elephants that have called this place home for centuries.

More than a bridge, it’s a reminder that even the wildest landscapes are meant to bring us together.

Principal photography for Delta Trucks is officially complete.

After weeks of following the men and machines that keep the Okavango moving, we wrapped our final production day the only way this story knows how.

We left Maun just after midnight and filmed through the darkness until 9 a.m. We got stuck in flooded channels. Every truck got stuck. Lions watched from a distance. Elephants stood nearby, reminding us whose home we were in. We battled freezing mornings, scorching sun, water, mud, fatigue, equipment damage, and every challenge the Delta could throw at us.

It was cold. It was hot. It was wet. It was grueling.

And we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Our bodies are aching, every muscle is sore, but this is the path we chose because we believe Botswana’s stories deserve to be told with honesty, passion, and respect.

A heartfelt thank you to the Ministry of Sports & Arts (MOSA) for co-producing this documentary with us, to every driver, mechanic, lodge, office that welcomed us, and community member who welcomed us into your world, and to everyone who has supported this journey. Thank you to the Maun District Youth office, Arts department for their availability to assist. To the crew that made it all possible thank you, this is for us. To our mentors Tizoh Kaone Mosenyi makutu thank you again.
