2026… Let’s bring her back πŸ”₯

2025 was a tough one. Being without Nala for almost nine months meant juggling rental cars, borrowing friends and family's cars, and way too many expensive Uber rides. It made even the simplest weekend getaways feel complicated.

But in the middle of all that, there were some unexpected opportunities. I explored new parts of the U.S., poured my energy into running (and I mean really poured it in), settled into a new apartment, and finally hosted the cozy dinner parties I’ve always dreamed about.

So if you noticed The Runaway Blonde leaning more into the π˜™π˜Άπ˜― in 2025, now you know why.

2026 is already feeling brighter, and full of possibility. I can’t wait to see what’s ahead. And if you stuck with me through 2025… thank you 🧑

Late to the party, but 2024 needed extra days to reflect on.

π™²πšžπš›πš›πšŽπš—πšπš•πš’ πš πš›πš’πšπš’πš—πš πšπš›πš˜πš– π™ΌπšŠπšžπš—, π™±πš˜πšπšœπš πšŠπš—πšŠ

2024! Embracing 30's, settling in, new job, and new routine. Traveled to amazing new places. Tried out a new hobby. Crushed a couple of goals, but I didn't crush every goal on the list. I learned to accept the help from others. If he wanted to, he will. I found new and deeper meanings in old/ long-standing friendships. Amazing people have entered my life, and I have also lost. I loved, and got betrayed. Never half-assed. Losing a memory card is worse than losing a phone. Liars often preach about lying. Missing a flight could actually be a blessing. Always have a 13 spanner. Bumping into your parents at AfrikaBurn is fun. Seeing your family once a week is a privilege. Having MCC in your hiking bag is a must. The world is very small. Blondes often have too much fun. A five minute cry in the car is always a good idea. Don't run with an injury. Food is life - eat! Never apologise for being the dancing queen. You can never be overdressed or overqualified. Let go, let God.

2025 came out of left field, but here for the ride πŸ‘πŸΌ
