A week ago, I wasn’t sure I could do this.
Last Sunday July 19,2026 we left Massachusetts to go to Nova Scotia, Canada, with the destination to go to the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, and I found myself thinking how scared I was and how I would doubt myself if I could do it.
Riding a motorcycle for a 1829 miles(2926 KM) in 07 days felt way outside my comfort zone. I kept wondering if I was strong enough. Could I handle the long days, the changing weather, the rain, the wind, the winding roads? We got it all of that.
There were moments when fear would show up, but in those moments, I stopped, prayed, and reminded myself that God doesn’t call us to live in fear, only love. He gives us strength for what He has placed in front of us. Every morning I asked Him to give me the courage to keep going, one mile at a time. I was grateful for the opportunity.
I also have to thank my husband, Carlos. He believed in me even when I wasn’t sure I believed in myself. He never doubted that I could do this. And so he was a right! I am sure God placed him in my life so I could see my strength. I am so grateful for his love, his patience, and for encouraging me to take this journey.
Now I’ve ridden some of the most beautiful roads I’ve ever seen, the Cabot Trail and the Fundy Trail in Saint Martins. I’ve looked over the Atlantic Ocean, breathed fresh air, and created memories that will stay with me forever.
Nova Scotia has captured my heart, and I already know I’ll be back.
This trip made me realize how often we limit our own lives. But what if the only thing standing between us and something incredible is the story we’re telling ourselves?
How many dreams are still waiting because fear has been making the decisions for us?
I’m so thankful I said yes, even though I was scared.Maybe this is the sign you needed today. Take that first step. Trust God a little more than your fear. You might discover you’re capable of far more than you ever imagined.
What is one dream you’ve been putting off because you’re afraid?
