I’ve been developing a portrait series called “Turning Points.”

It’s centered on moments of change—career shifts, personal transitions, or simply a point where something feels different.

These sessions are more personal, more intentional, and built collaboratively around each person.

Very excited to have received my copy of SPARK, A Creative's Guide to Finding Your Voice and Leaving a Legacy. The packaging was so beautiful I had to stop and do an unboxing video. Steve Campbell did such a great job putting this together. And with all of his life and work and creative experiences I know this is going to be a great and inspirational read.

(I did pay for my book, and Steve did not ask me to do this. It's just that cool.)

Concord Indivisible was out in force in Concord at Monument Square this afternoon to "help spread the flame of freedom." As they say on their website, "One of the most important things we can do to resist authoritarian intimidation is to show up — to demonstrate to others that ordinary people like them understand that things are not normal, not okay, and not acceptable." And they were doing it! Lots of cars honking in support. Definitely a lot of passion out to show up and show they care.

I had the pleasure of working with John Radovan for a new headshot. John is Director of Public Sector Business Development, MIT Open Learning and was one of several speakers at the Day of AI, Philippines that took place on February 27, 2025. "AI AND BEYOND: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Learning and Work." His headshot and portrait were used by the conference to promote the event and provide details to attendees.

Suds had a good time in the studio today after a client was finished with their headshots and portraits. He got a few treats for being a good boy and sitting on the rug for me while I took a couple of photos. He's a good boy.

It's always fun to get to work with another photographer. I enjoy getting my photo taken and seeing what it is like being in front of the camera. And I also love it when another photographer asks me to be their portrait photographer.

Colin Valentine asked me to create a new set of portraits and headshots for him to use for his photography website. Colin is a retired engineer and is an avid photographer who loves photographing high school sports among other things. His basketball and hockey photos are excellent and really fun to see. He does an amazing job not only capturing the action, but also the emotion in the game. Super cool!

On Wednesday morning I stopped by the Club Car Cafe at Union Station in West Concord, MA to photography Michael Williams and a group that was there to hear his thoughts on education. Michael is running for a position on the Concord School Committee. It was an engaging and intimate gathering with a lot of questions, conversation and discussion.

From Michael: "By working together, we can create a school system that offers every student and their families the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. Together, we can build the Concord for the next fifty years, the Concord we all want—a Concord for all."

He notes his three priorities as:
📚 Education Excellence
📚 Making Good Schools Better
📚 Leadership, Engagement, and Thoughtful Planning

Michael is one of at least three people who are running for two open positions in the town.

During the fall I worked with Amber Galou, CPCC and Mark Heydt to help create a new branded photography library for their leadership coaching business, Stoke Leadership. This was a half-day shoot and we were able to create a wide range of imagery that they have used in their newly launched website. I love how it all came out!

And, Amber and Mark were thrilled when I shared the photos for review: "OMG SO THANKFUL! This is totally what I had envisioned. Thank you so much for your expertise in listening to our vision and then making it happen!"

From my experience working with them throughout the planning and ex*****on of this shoot I can say they are a great group to work with. I can't wait to work with them again!
