🏆International Photography Awards 2026 — Honourable Mention

About a month ago I posted that two of my photographs had been selected as Official Selections in the International Photography Awards (IPA).

I'm very pleased to announce that one of those photographs, Lithic Breath, has now been awarded an Honourable Mention in Fine Art – N*des in the 2026 IPA Awards.

Having my work recognised by another international jury is a wonderful acknowledgement of the direction I'm taking with my fine art photography.

The image will be featured in the IPA Annual Book of Photography and the official Honourable Mention Gallery.

The International Photography Awards are one of the more highly regarded international photography competitions, and receiving recognition from IPA is a significant achievement for me.

I now have work entered in PX3 (Paris Photo Awards) and the Tokyo International Foto Awards, which will complete my 2026 international competition circuit. Then it's on to 2027.

I'm extremely grateful to IPA and its judges for recognising the work.

Lithic Breath is available as a fine art collector's print through my website.

I have received some more international juried recognition for my Fine Art photography with three minor awards in the European Photography Awards.

The first photo 'Form and Shadow' received a Gold Award. This photo will not be going on my collectors list as it will be sold to an Australian buyer as an exclusive print.

From my Moonlit Landscape series number 2 received a Silver Award and number 1 received an Honourable Mention.

Whilst these awards are only minor awards they are still from an industry jury and the competition is a legitimate international competition.

This was my first time photographing two models as a Duo. When I started photographing these two models, I wanted to explore the way their bodies could work together as a single composition.

The lines, curves and unusual positioning create an image that is almost abstract, while still being human.

This is one of the things I love about fine art n*de photography. The body can become shape, form and sculpture.

This is another exploration of the human form through light, shadow and composition.

Models: Andrea and Aurora.

What do you see in this photograph?

At first glance, perhaps it's simply a study of the human form.

But when I created this image, I was interested in something beyond the physical form, the relationship between symmetry and balance.

Fine art photography doesn't always need to tell you exactly what to see. Sometimes the interpretation belongs to the viewer.

This photograph is called “Invocation.”

It will be added to my collectors list very soon and is currently entered into several international photography competitions.

I also offer private commissions, where you can become part of the artwork and create something uniquely personal in the privacy of your own home. Please contact me for details.
