I want our boy to grow up seeing more than one way to live.

Travel has shaped me, maybe more than anything else in my life. Through growth, through hard times, through new experiences… it’s given me perspective I’ll always be grateful for.

And I want him to feel that too. To experience different food, different cultures, different ways of life, and know the world is so much bigger than just what’s around him.

That’s something I’ll always want to give him.

Yep, that’s me. 36, playing other people’s songs, six gig a week, to crowds who’ve never heard a single one of my songs.

This is what’s putting food on the table right now. I’m out here grinding cover gigs, weddings, late-night bars… doing what I’ve gotta do to provide for the family.
Six gigs a week is madness. “I’ve got blisters on me fingers.”

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad gig. But it’s not the dream.

Right now I’m working on new music. And I want to bring you along for the journey.

Let’s see how far we can take this… chasing the dream of writing, recording, and performing my own songs full-time again.

A lot of dads tried to tell me what this felt like and how amazing it was, and I thought I understood, and then we had Oliver and I realised that I had no idea.

The best way that I can describe it is, that it cracks you open, every cell in your body explodes and you’re changed forever in the best way.

Ohh and watching your partner become an amazing mum is the sexiest thing you’ll ever see
