We've been busy during the virus lockdown. In between editing and small shoot jobs, we've managed to make a short documentary film for the AH1733 Krawarree Restoration Project.
This is a very worthy project and we're proud to have a chance to support it. It would be a great shame to see it rot. Huon Pine is protected from felling and all current timber is from old fallen logs sitting in the bottom of the bays.
The wood used in this boat is possibly 1500 to 2000 years old, so it may have started as a seedling during the Roman Empire. We can't let that go to waste!

Nice to see the school project we've been helping on come to fruition. We spent a little time with the kids teaching them how to tell stories in their photo portraits of the volunteers. We then lent them an old camera and let them do it themselves. The kids did an amazing job with some really pro looking photos all on their own! Congrats to Mrs Esgate for a great project and inspiring all the kids. :) We were honoured to support the kids and touched by how much skill and enthusiasm they applied.
