JUST MARRIED! Oh Bower Estate… we love this venue so much! Set on 120 acres of heritage greenery and surrounded by Queensland national parks, this full-service venue seriously offers everything you would love on your wedding day. Sean and Kellen’s day was stunning with a huge vendor list and so many sweet touches and beautiful details. The day was planned by the amazing Emma from For Love and Living and was effortlessly coordinated with so much care. After a morning spent getting ready with their closest people, Kellen in Surfers Paradise and Sean at the beautiful Bower Estate, everyone gathered on the Hillview Lawn at the Bower Estate for a sweet 2pm ceremony. Their two lovely dogs, Charlie and Lola, even played a special role as ring bearers, adding an extra personal touch to the day and were happily babysat by their pet sitters. Following family photos and plenty of hugs and tears, guests sipped cocktails by The Vintage Bar Co on the lawn, complete with a margarita tower and stunning views across the Natural Bridge hinterland. As the afternoon rolled on, we snuck away with Sean and Kellen and their bridal party for portraits around the property before chasing the golden hour. The celebrations continued into the evening with emotional speeches, photo booth fun, deliciousness from The Italian Job, cake cutting of the cutest heart-shaped cake, camcorders being thrown around, an epic wardrobe change and a packed dance floor. It was such a fun, easy-going day full of laughter, love and champagne pops which kept the vibe happy all throughout the night.

JUST HITCHED! Another beautiful micro wedding on the Tweed Coast! This time, featuring the lovely Kelsey and Corey who were married at the beautiful The Belle Riverhouse in Tumbulgum a couple of days ago. We were lucky enough to be added to this dream team of local vendors by the legends themselves, Hitched in Paradise. Ben and Tarnie, husband and wife team and the faces behind Hitched in Paradise are the absolute gurus behind planning and organising elopements and micro weddings. Tarnie does the organisation and all the exciting details while Ben is the celebrant and the smiley face which keeps the ceremony flowing. This day was calm and all about their close family and friends. They chose the Belle Riverhouse as their ceremony spot which is understandable as the 100-year-old Queenslander is beautifully renovated with a large garden, views and can sleep 16! We have actually stayed here ourselves for our grandmother’s 70th and we would highly recommend it for all occasions. JUST MARRIED! We always love a Hitched in Paradise elopement… especially one at the Byron Bay Lighthouse! We have been friends with Tarnie and Ben, the lovely people behind Hitched in Paradise for years, and we will always be excited to work on one of their lovingly planned ceremonies. A couple of days ago, Morgan and Cassie tied the knot in Byron and arrived together in a “show car”. The couple had asked for lots of candids and ceremony photos and less of the “formal” side of things. These two were very family-orientated and their day had so many lovely teary moments which was such a pleasure to capture!! The ceremony was held on the grassy patch in front of the lighthouse before we took a stroll down to Little Wategos for a sweet little portrait session on the cliffs and beachfront. JUST MARRIED at ! Rod and Diana were married last month at the beautiful Barefoot at Broken Head… a rainforest villa with direct access to the beach and amazing views of the hills and the Byron Bay Lighthouse. This venue is one of our favourites as everything can be on-site, it can sleep up to 14 guests and has indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception areas. Rod and Diana included a lot of their friends adding their special touches and talents with Diana’s dress, the florals, the celebrant, the makeup and music! The whole day was intimate and extremely family-orientated with their grandchildren and favourite people being a highlight of the festivities. JUST BLOGGED! Oh Amy and Sam. These two originally booked during 2020 but due to lockdowns and all the crazy stuff that happened that year, they unfortunately had to cancel. However, 2023 was their year and we were so excited to finally capture their love! These two tied the knot at one of our most favourite venues, Cowbell Creek, a 200 acre highland cattle farm in the Gold Coast Hinterland. This venue has been a family property for generations until they decided to share it with the world as a wedding venue. How lucky are we all? Amy and Sam used the venue for most of the day until heading over to Panchos, a Tex Mex restaurant in Mudgeeraba, for their wedding reception. JUST RENEWED! Oh Telita and Peter. We first met these two 10 years ago and were lucky enough to capture their special day back in 2016. Fast forward 10 years, we were lucky AGAIN to capture their vow renewal on their wedding date! Since the first day we met them, these two have had 2 children and have achieved so much together. Telita is originally an event planner herself, so this day was organised amazingly with all her special touches at this beautiful Brisbane Hinterland venue. Mercure Clear Mountain lodge is only 35 minutes from the Brisbane city and is a 20 hectare retreat surrounded by native bushland and amazing views of the Glasshouse mountains, Moreton Island and the city. Telita and Peter were married in the beautiful Pavilion surrounded by 35 of their favourite people before heading off to portraits with their children around the property. The day concluded with sunset lighting and the reception in the serenity garden. Have a flick through their sneak peek! We hope to see them again in 10 years haha!

JUST BLOGGED! Oh wow! This was an incredible afternoon celebrating 2 gorgeous people, 1 lovely doggy and their 15 favourites on the sands of a very special piece of paradise. Fingal Head. A secluded, BEAUTIFUL beach just 10 minutes from our house featuring Cook Island in the near distance and the lovely Fingal Lighthouse. The epic thing about Fingal Head is its 23 million year old basalt hexagonal rock formations that are seriously breathtaking and black in colour. These were caused from lava flows from Mount Warning and are now a beautiful feature that we love to use in our portrait sessions.

On this day, the sun came out perfectly for Nes and Will and we were lucky to capture their ceremony which was planned by the amazing and a lovely portrait session with their doggy Lulu.

The couple hired an airbnb in Pottsville with their family for the week leading up to their day and we we were so excited to share this opportunity with an amazing list of location vendors.
