A little shout-out to another incredible small business that I’ve recently discovered and absolutely fallen in love with. 💐

I’m so excited to be incorporating these beautiful floral arrangements into my future photography sessions. Even better, they’re created by a local Maryborough business, and Bec is one of the kindest people you’ll meet.

I picked up this gorgeous arrangement for my home office today, and it’s brought a little bit of beauty into what has been a very difficult day. This afternoon, we received the heartbreaking news that another important member of our family, this time on my husband’s side has passed away.

To be honest, life has felt incredibly heavy lately. It seems like we’ve been surrounded by so much loss and life issues, and while I’m not feeling okay right now, I know that, with time, I will be.

On top of everything, I’ve been battling a lung infection after being repeatedly knocked around by influenza. It’s certainly been a challenging few weeks.

To all of my wonderful clients, thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Please know I’m working as hard as I can to catch up over the next week and a half and get everything back up to date after what has been an incredibly busy and unexpected period.

Thank you all for your continued support—it truly means more than you know. ❤️

Thank you for those that took the time yesterday to leave kind messages 🥰 yesterday was a big day sorting affairs and staying committed to the booked work. Today I’ve managed to have a slower morning and now getting the studio ready for our afternoon sessions and getting the gingerbread setup I had in for photos out! If anyone would like to have a studio session anytime in the year happy to arrange and style it out for you. Starting to think about doing glamour & feel good sessions in the future if that is of interest.

Hey guys, bit of a somber message this morning. I had a grandparent pass away yesterday and now my next few days/week looks a bit different to what I had planned. All bookings for this weekend are all good and going ahead. I wanted to release a stack of sneak peaks from the last two weddings and 3 MSHS formals from last Thursday over the weekend. I will do my best to share these over the coming days or now next week some time so please bear with me as I know my clients are waiting eagerly to see these and I made a commitment to do so this weekend prior to all this happening! I will attend to Christmas bookings and messages when I can, I just may not be as responsive straight away like I try and do.

If you are not aware Hubby and I also have a Laser and 3D Printing Business as well where we do a stack of items. You will find us at the Handmade Artisan Fraser Coast markets happening next Sunday 12th July. Here you can buy our products and have items personalised on the spot as well as we are taking our smaller Laser Machine with us on the day! Think Yeti's engraved, or items personalised for dad with Fathers Day Coming up very soon. Otherwise if you need any sigange for weddings, cake toppers, guestbooks, ring boxes, welcome signs or seating charts we do them too and you can find all our work on our page Western Oak & Co.

Some of our products you will find at the Handmade Artisan Fraser Coast next Sunday. We'll have some blanks available ready to personalise for you on the day with the laser.

Christmas Minis 2026 Bookings are now Open

I'm super excited for this year setups, it's been 12 months in the making and styling and will be in our new glasshouse studio here in Tiaro! These are always super popular, limited days are being offered for 2026. So secure early if you want a particular date & time.

Pets are most welcome to both setups to join along with you.

We have Gingerbread Christmas happening on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November. Followed by our Inspired Ralph Lauren Traditional Christmas on the Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November. Further details are below on the flyer.

*To Book just pop us a message with your chosen setup, date/time and package you would like.
*Yes you can buy more images as well after your session.
*We also have Pay in 4 with Klarna for those needing a little bit of time to pay off your package.

What an amazing day!

Today at the Hervey Bay Boat Club Wedding Expo was absolutely fantastic! A huge thank you to the wonderful venue and staff for putting on such a beautiful event, was truly a pleasure to be a part of. I hope that this event continues for 2027!

To everyone who stopped by our stand either for the photography or the laser engraving at Western Oak & Co, thank you! It was so lovely meeting so many newly engaged couples, chatting about your wedding plans, and sharing how we can capture or help with your special day. We know our stall got a bit jam packed from people chatting with us, if we missed you please pop me a message anytime 💕
