From Our Lady of Victories to Novella on the Park, this was one celebration that definitely knew how to make an entrance.

With their closest family by their side, they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Pyrmont Wedding Registry before wandering the harbour, letting the city become part of their story. A sleek black suit, an elegant silk gown, and a waterfront boardwalk that became the most unexpected dance floor for their very first dance.

Proof that style isn’t measured by the size of the celebration. Sometimes it’s found in the quiet moments, the confident glances, and the freedom to celebrate your love your own way.

There couldn't be a more fitting way to celebrate a little man turning one than with a carefree morning by the ocean, where every giggle, curious little step and salty breeze became part of his story.

A first birthday marks a year filled with firsts, tiny milestones, endless cuddles, sandy toes and memories to be treasured for a lifetime.

Some weddings have a colour palette. This one had a story.

From the bridesmaids in striking red to the groom’s textured black jacket, every detail was thoughtfully connected. Red roses filled the bouquet, framed the ceremony arch, lined the aisle, and showered the couple as they walked back down the aisle as newlyweds. Even the champagne tower was finished with delicate red ribbons, proving that no detail was too small.

As the sun disappeared, candlelight brought a different kind of warmth. The rich reds became softer, the atmosphere more intimate, and Kalinya Estate felt effortlessly romantic.

A wedding where every shade of red symbolised love, celebration, family, and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.

Ten years ago, J + M trusted me to capture one of the biggest days of their lives. A year later, we celebrated their first anniversary with a photoshoot. Now, a decade after their wedding, we’re back behind the camera again. This time celebrating not only ten years of marriage, but the exciting journey into parenthood!

As a photographer, there’s no greater compliment than having couples come back through different seasons of life. Watching their story unfold over the years and being invited to document each new chapter is something I’ll never take for granted.

I’m beyond grateful for your trust over the last decade. Congratulations on ten beautiful years together and on the little one who’s already so deeply loved. I can’t wait to capture even more memories with J + M + 1. 🩷

There was something beautifully intentional about every part of this wedding. From the bride embracing the timeless rhyme of something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe, every tradition was woven into the day with meaning. Even the blue floral embroidery hidden beneath her gown and the words engraved on the sole of her shoes became quiet reminders of the promises she carried into marriage.

The deep navy suits of the groom and his groomsmen paired perfectly with the magenta red dresses of the bridesmaids, creating a classic colour palette that felt elegant without trying too hard.

After exchanging vows at Holy Name of Mary Church, we wandered to Clarke Reserve, where Sydney Harbour provided the perfect backdrop before celebrating the night at Drummoyne Sailing Club.

It’s often the details no one sees at first that end up telling the most unforgettable story.
