🌞 There’s something about maternity photos that feels a little different to me now…

🌻Since having my own baby girl, I look at these beautiful mamas and see things so differently. I remember being pregnant, not always feeling confident, not always feeling that “glow”, and wondering if I’d ever look back and miss that little bump..

🌼Now I look at my own maternity photos and think… wow, my baby was right there. 🥹🤍

✨️So when I photograph a mama and her growing belly, I know just how precious these moments really are. The little kicks, the bump, the anticipation, the waiting to meet the tiny person who will change everything. ✨

💛You may not feel like having your photo taken right now, but one day you might look back and be so incredibly grateful you did.

🌼And that’s why I’ll always have such a soft spot for maternity sessions. 🌼

🌞 It has been so lovely being back behind the camera again. I've honestly missed capturing these beautiful moments so much.

🌼 Getting to spend the morning with this gorgeous little family and their growing bump was such a reminder of why I love what I do. Before they know it, they'll go from a family of three to a family of four, and that is such a special chapter to remember.

🌻 These seasons go by so quickly, and I'm so grateful I get to help families hold onto these little moments forever. 🤍✨

🌼I almost didn't have maternity photos taken..

🌞I wasn't feeling like myself. I didn't feel beautiful, I definitely didn't feel like I had that "pregnancy glow," and I questioned whether I even wanted to be in front of the camera..

🌻But I'm so incredibly grateful that I did..

✨️Now my baby girl is 3 months old, and when I look back at those photos, I don't see the things I worried about. I see the little life that was growing inside me. I remember her little kicks, the excitement, the love, and the anticipation of finally meeting her..

🌞Those photos aren't about how I looked. They're about a chapter of my life I'll never get back..

🌼If you're pregnant and feeling unsure about booking a maternity session because you don't feel your best, this is your reminder that one day you'll look back with completely different eyes. You'll see love, strength, and the beautiful memories of carrying your little one.
