Soooo tired of all the rain ☔️ I just want to be able to photograph my families this weekend without having to open a weather app 😪

How’s this double exposure from the little bit of sun we had last week?? I shared it at the end of the reel preview from this session but I can tell in the stats no one has attention span for anything over fifteen seconds in Insta anymore. Sad. Frustrating. When I was a new Mum I thought I had time to book the photos. I was so incredibly sick and exhausted from figuring out breastfeeding and recurrent mastitis for the first three months (each baby) it never happened.

As my journey into photography went deeper I fell in love with creating films.

Now this…this is what my heart aches for!

Our everyday when they were tiny and I was still figuring it all out.

Being able to take myself back to that time (because amongst the difficulty was pure life magic!) at the click of a play button. I wish I knew how much I’d want it.

20 years ago I met a funny, handsome guy at a bar near uni.
13 years ago we got married.
dorman we continue to be exactly what each other needs in our different stages. Lately you’ve been my grounding and without your ever forgiving patience, your kind heart and encouraging self…. well …life just wouldn’t be as good as it is right now.

You are one of my most favourite three things in this world and together we made the other two.

Love always, your wife who forgot our anniversary so you get your message publicly announced on my Instagram rather than in a card!

PS. Also this is why you pay the big bucks. I spent more on my wedding photography than anything else… it was not an elaborate wedding by any means but 50% of what we saved and spent went to documenting the day. So now I have these beautiful professional photos that are on my walls, in an album and so timeless I will be able to share them every year without you knowing when it was.
