And just like that, the exhibition has come to an end❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to see my exhibition, supported the project, shared the posts, or simply took the time to stop and look at the images and read the stories.

One of the most special things about the exhibition was seeing how many people connected with the stories behind the photographs. There were lots of tears, emotional moments and conversations that stayed with me long after people had walked away.

For me, that was incredibly powerful. These aren’t just photographs. They are real children, real families and real stories; stories of strength, resilience, challenges, love and hope.

To all of the families who trusted me with their children and their stories, thank you. I will never take that trust for granted.

And to everyone who visited, got emotional, asked questions, shared a kind word or simply stood quietly taking it all in - thank you.

The exhibition may have closed, but The With Grace Project continues. There are more stories to tell, more families to meet and more awareness to create.

Thank you for helping me bring these beautiful children and their stories into the light ❤️

Happy World Photography Day 📸

There’s something about picking up a camera and never really knowing what you’re going to capture.

For me, photography is about watching, noticing and being ready for those little moments. The expression that lasts half a second, the way someone looks at their child, a laugh that happens naturally, or a moment where everything just comes together.

Being a photographer isn’t just about pressing the shutter. There’s so much that happens before and after that moment; finding the right light, choosing a location, working with people, helping someone feel comfortable in front of the camera and then taking all of those elements and creating an image.

I love the creative side of photography, but I also love the unpredictability of it. No two people are the same, no two sessions are the same, and you can never completely recreate a moment once it has happened.

That’s what keeps me reaching for my camera.

Happy World Photography Day to all the photographers out there who are constantly looking for the next moment, the next story and that perfect shot ❤️.

Some stories stay with you long after the camera has stopped.

Today, I’m sharing some beautiful words from Indy’s mum, about her experience being part of The With Grace Project.

Indy is an incredible little girl living with Pierre Robin Sequence, and it has been such an honour to photograph her and help share a small part of her story.

The With Grace Project was created to give children living with disability, illness and additional needs a space to be seen, celebrated and valued for exactly who they are.

Behind every photograph is a child, a family and a story - and it is the trust of these families that makes this project so incredibly special.

Thank you, Kira, for your beautiful words and for trusting me with Indy’s story.

Every child deserves to be seen. Every story deserves to be heard.

What an incredibly special few days it has been. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the opening of The ‘With Grace’ Project exhibition, and to the families who joined us for today’s family viewing. It was so lovely to catch up with the families and kids and see them experience their portraits on the walls.

I was incredibly nervous giving my speech on Friday, so if I didn’t get the chance to chat with you properly, please accept my apologies! 🙈

Most importantly, thank you to every family who has trusted me with your beautiful children and their stories. This project simply wouldn’t be possible without you.

And ‘With Grace’ is only just beginning. I am still looking for families to join the project, as my hope is to eventually create a book featuring the children’s portraits alongside their stories — creating a lasting record that celebrates their lives and raises awareness of the conditions and disabilities that are often unseen or misunderstood.
