A great evening celebrating the future of Port Hedland!

It was fantastic to see so many local businesses, industry leaders and community members come together to connect, share ideas and explore the opportunities ahead for Port Hedland International Airport.

Networking events like these are where conversations begin, partnerships are built and exciting projects take shape. Looking forward to seeing where this journey leads for PHIA and our region.

These images were created for Fortescue to support the launch of its partnership with Bloodwood Tree Association.

Behind every project are people working hard to make a difference in our community. Being able to help tell those stories through authentic, meaningful imagery is one of the reasons I love what I do.

A special one to look back on.

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to photograph this story for PLS in The Australian, highlighting PLS's trainee dump truck initiative and the incredible response it received.

It's always a privilege to help tell stories that showcase the people, opportunities and industries shaping the Pilbara.

Seeing the story in print is something I'm incredibly proud of.

The countdown to lift-off began long before the curtain rose.

The foyer at the Matt Dann was buzzing with excitement ahead of Barking Gecko Arts' performance of Stellarphant, bringing James Foley's beloved story to life for Hedland audiences. Young space explorers were kept busy with colouring activities, face painting, and mask making, while roving astronauts added an extra touch of wonder as they wandered through the crowd.

As families gathered and children proudly showed off their creations, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation, imagination, and plenty of smiles. It was wonderful to see so many young people engaging with the creative activities and embracing the spirit of adventure that Stellarphant inspires.

Events like these are a fantastic reminder of the power of the arts to bring communities together, spark curiosity, and create memorable experiences for children and families alike.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this stellar production to Hedland. It was a pleasure to capture the excitement both on and off the stage.

A new location, a fantastic atmosphere, and a community that showed up in force.

This year's Celebrate Hedland event flourished at the JD Hardie, transforming the space into a vibrant hub of activity, connection, and local pride. With an incredible range of stall holders spread throughout both the indoor and outdoor areas, there was something new to discover around every corner.

From community groups and local organisations to businesses, activities, and entertainment, the event showcased the diversity and spirit that make Hedland such a unique place to call home. It was wonderful to see so many people gathering together, catching up with familiar faces, supporting local stall holders, and enjoying everything the afternoon had to offer.

Events like Celebrate Hedland are a reminder of the strength of our community and the value of creating spaces where people can connect, share experiences, and celebrate the region we live in.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success. It was a pleasure to capture the conversations, smiles, and community spirit that filled the JD Hardie from start to finish.

Tiny feet, big smiles, and a whole lot of fun!

Shay Gap Park was buzzing with energy as families gathered for the World's Biggest Play Day, hosted by the Town of Port Hedland. From hands-on activities and creative play to games, crafts, and plenty of opportunities to explore, there was no shortage of excitement throughout the morning.

What stood out most was the incredible community spirit on display. It was wonderful to see local families connecting, children making new friends, and community organisations coming together to support and engage with residents. The informative stall holders added so much value to the day, sharing resources, services, and knowledge that help strengthen our community.

Events like these are a reminder that play is more than just fun — it's about connection, learning, and creating opportunities for our community to come together.
