The Milky Way rises in Perth Hills overlooking this beautiful falls.

I am very fortunate to live in westernaustralia where I can explore beautiful sky and amazing waterfalls 35 mins' drive from home.

After all the rain we have had in last 3-4 days, this place will be looking so perfect for night photography.

Three Pinnacles and the night sky of Western Australia. In July, I visited Pinnacles to teach and show the dark sky of WA. One of the participants was very keen to try the Optolong Filter on my astro mod camera to see the result. I managed to capture this result with the filter on my Z6IIA .

Moon rises over a lone tree amongst the golden field of Canola Bloom.
Grow Photography (Perth Aus) and I visited Beverley to find some interesting subjects to capture the night sky and the moonrise. We settled on this beautiful lone tree amongst canola bloom and one of my favorite images of the year. This is a very challenging image with bracketing and focus stacking .
