I've scrolled past this photo so many times. I remember taking it and thinking there wasn't anything particularly remarkable about the scene. But there was something I couldn't quite put into words.
Looking back, I realise it wasn't just about what I saw—it was about how it felt. It had rained earlier that morning, and everything seemed richer. The colours were deeper, the air was completely still, water droplets fell gently from the leaves, and the sound of corellas passing overhead was the only thing breaking the silence. It was peaceful.
When I finally sat down to edit this image, that feeling came rushing back. I think that's what makes this photograph special to me. Sometimes a photo isn't just about capturing a place—it's about a moment or a feeling.
