Open sky, a veil with a mind of its own, and a marquee full of people glowing at dusk.

The best bits of this day weren’t planned. They just happened because nobody was rushing them.

Bronson and Kate love coffee that much that they ducked out for a custom pour over. Bronson even brought his own water, with the right pH for the brew.

I love when a day makes room for the small things that are so completely you.

New angle.

I got a drone recently, and this is the first frame I’ve kept. Two people, one dirt road, hand in hand the whole way.

I love that I’ll be able to capture your day from a new angle. Same me, same focus on the people, just a bit more of the place you’re from.

Simon wiping a tear while Genevieve spoke. A whole aisle clapping as they walked back down it. The bridal party cheering the second it was official.

This day felt like love, joy, genuine friendship and a milestone to be remembered.

The day will probably run late. That’s normal.

When it does, I protect the things that can’t be redone. First looks, and the quiet moments with mum and dad before the ceremony. You only get those once.

The full set of bridesmaids and groomsmen photos can wait until after the ceremony. Those are the ones I can move.

Nobody gets the first ones back.
