I am a slightly over-achieving, problem-solving multi-tasker who happens to have some great photography skills. My “full-time” work is as a freelance real estate photographer, but a freelance schedule can mean running flat out, to days of “which café should I hang out at today?” I love working with small businesses to make products or services look good online and can provide everything from photo

graphy services to marketing, social media content creation and advice, or graphic design and print knowledge. I love exploring my city, trying new cafes and going on adventures with friends. I love travel and landscape photography because it gets me outdoors and enjoying weekends away in a new place, or finding a spot where I am the only person around to watch a gorgeous sunrise.

I’ve been going through old travel photos and I think these were the first photos I ever took (a sunrise in Portugal) that made me want to learn photography 📷

It took me three years after this trip to Europe to pick up a DSLR camera and start learning, but I distinctly remember on this trip trying to take photos that really showed what a place was like (and mostly failing!)

Most of the photos I took on that 2012 trip are trash - wonky horizons, blurry subjects, food photos and terrible selfies - but if not for those photos maybe I wouldn’t be working as a photographer now 😄
