There’s something so special about photographing a family like this.
Saturday felt soft and slow, the kind of morning where love shows up in every tiny gesture.
You’ll see a little teddy in some of these images…a small, precious part of their story held with so much tenderness.

Their stillborn daughter is woven quietly into these moments, not in a way that takes over, but in the way love naturally continues.

What stood out most was how beautiful this family is together, the way they lean into each other, the way their little ones are adored, the way their connection fills the whole frame.

It was an honour to capture something so real, gentle, and full of heart.

✨Personal Post✨
Life has been full lately, the kind of full that stretches you in every direction.
Working full‑time, being a mum, a daughter, a wife, and trying to keep up with the rhythm of everyday life, it’s a lot. And because of that, my socials have been a little quieter than usual.

But please know this:
I haven’t gone anywhere.
Not as a photographer, not as a storyteller, not as the girl who sees magic in the everyday moments.

Photography is still a huge part of me. It’s woven into how I breathe, how I see people, how I hold memories. Even when I’m not posting constantly, that passion is still sitting right beside me; steady, quiet, and very much alive.

And this weekend… I get to step back behind the lens for two beautiful shoots that I’m genuinely excited for.
Moments like these remind me exactly why I love what I do. They fill my cup in a way nothing else does.

This season has simply asked me to be present in other areas of my life, and I’m grateful for that. But my love for capturing stories hasn’t faded, at all… it’s just living alongside everything else I’m juggling.

To everyone who’s been here through every chapter, thank you.
Your support, your kindness, your belief in me… it means more than you know.

I’m still here.

Big changes ahead — As I begin a new job, I’m feeling really grateful for the opportunities coming my way.
With this shift, I’ll be stepping away from weekday shoots and moving into limited availability, prioritising weekend sport, family and the people who matter most.

But don’t worry… the camera isn’t packed away. I’ll still be capturing stories, just at a slower pace.

When Amy messaged me back in January to lock in a family shoot for a Saturday in Kootingal, I smiled straight away. There are some families you photograph with your camera… and some you photograph with your whole heart. Amy’s is the second kind.

We grew up together out at Rowena and Burren — two little country girls running around dusty paddocks, chasing sunbeams, and learning early what real community feels like. Those childhood memories don’t fade; they settle into you. So when someone from those years reaches out and asks you to capture their family, it hits different. It feels like coming home.

And Kootingal absolutely turned it on for us.
The afternoon sun didn’t just show up — it performed. It wrapped itself around every hug, every laugh, every quiet moment. It gave us that warm, golden glow that only country afternoons know how to make. The kind of light you can’t fake, can’t force… you just have to be lucky enough to be there when it happens.

Seeing Amy’s family together again was honestly beautiful. Generations standing side by side, kids running around with that same wild freedom we grew up with, parents smiling in that proud, gentle way only family can bring out. There’s something about photographing people you’ve known your whole life — you see the history in their faces, the stories in their hands, the love in the way they stand close without even realising it.

And then there was Pop Worley.
I wasn’t sure how he felt about being photographed so much — he gave me that classic “I don’t know about all this” look at first. But the camera doesn’t lie. Every time he thought no one was watching, that soft little smile crept in. That quiet pride. That warmth. I’m convinced he secretly loved every minute of it.

This shoot reminded me exactly why I do what I do.
It’s not just about photos — it’s about legacy. It’s about capturing the way a family loves, the way they laugh, the way they stand together in the sunlight on a Saturday afternoon in a small town that feels like home.

Some mornings just feel different — softer, slower, sweeter — and this one with Nat and her girls was exactly that.
There’s a kind of love in their family that you can see before you even hear it… the way the girls lean into her, the way Nat’s smile settles everything, the way they move together like they’ve always known how to make their own little world feel safe and warm.

It’s the kind of family bond that doesn’t need big moments to shine. It’s in the quiet laughter, the gentle hands fixing hair, the way Nat looks at her girls like they’re her whole heart walking around in the sunshine. It’s in the way the girls light up around her — comfortable, adored, completely themselves.

Morning light, easy smiles, and that unmistakable Narrabri warmth wrapped around them… just a mum and her girls, loving each other in the simplest, most beautiful ways.
A family built on strength, softness, and the kind of love that lasts through every season.

Five photoshoots in one week… my camera has barely had a chance to cool down.
Yesterday was spent in beautiful Kootingal with the most gorgeous big family, and now it’s a full week behind the desk editing, polishing, and getting albums out to their homes.

It’s been busy, chaotic, creative, and honestly so rewarding.
Today though… today is for my own family.
A slow Sunday, a full heart, and a reminder of why I love capturing everyone else’s stories — because mine matters too 🤍

Friday afternoon with The Morley Family…and all six grandkids.

A level of chaos that should honestly be bottled and sold — pure joy, pure noise, pure magic.

After four years of not all being together, watching this crew pile into one frame felt special. The kind of special that makes you stop, breathe it in, and realise how lucky you are to witness it.

There was laughter, cuddles, cheeky grins, a few wild moments (thanks to the little ones and the adults), and that unmistakable Morley family love that fills every space they walk into 🤍

I recently had the pleasure of styling and photographing a newly renovated private rental with one of my beautiful friends, Em — and let’s be honest, she loaded up the car more than I did this time.

The home has already been successfully rented, but I’m excited to share some of the images that highlight its fresh finishes, warm styling, and inviting atmosphere. Creating spaces that feel welcoming and lived‑in is one of my favourite parts of this work, and this property was a dream to bring to life.
