Matt Hull is one of Australias most inivative and passionate freelance photographers. Studying an advanced dimploma of Video production and tv broadcast, Matt discovered that his true passion lied in still images, giving up the video camera to pick up an SLR. Moving to the Falls Creek ski resort, Australia in 2004 he combined his passion for the ski and snowboard lifestyle with his passion for pho
tography. Many years later Matt is now one of the most recognised photographers in the snow sports industry, travelling to various Australian resorts in the southern hemisphere winters and documenting the snow sports lifestyle on the main island of Japan for the Northern winters. Shooting regularly for print and online publications such as Snow Action, MountainWatch, Transfer snowboard magazine and brands including Burton, Fyve and 3CS outerwear he gets the chance to work with some of the worlds best athletes, working with their talents and abilities to get the perfect shot. When the winters draw to a close Matt shows his diversity by shooting for various brands and corportaions around Melbourne, this includes music promotion. Working with live acts to get the right imagery and to raise the bands profile he can be found at many of Melbourne's famous venues capturing the vibe and energy of these artists.
