A Bumble match in 2022, a first meeting in Bangkok, a legal wedding last year, and then this - a full celebration at Stones of the Yarra Valley with everyone they love. Gwen and Marc’s story is one for the books.

During their ceremony, their celebrant spoke about how from their very first trip together in Phuket, Marc already knew he was gonna marry her. And Gwen, who moved from Thailand to Melbourne for this relationship, found in Marc someone who made sure she always felt safe, supported, and at home. Listening to them talk about each other, you just knew this was the real thing.

A daytime wedding with a lunch reception, good food, great people, and these two so obviously, completely in love. Days like this are exactly why we do what we do.

Friends for years before finally getting together in Year 12, and then eight more years before this beautiful day.

We love shooting weddings at Hubert Estate so much. The mix of modern architecture and open landscapes means couples walk away with a gallery of images with beautiful variety. And the sunset on this day was a bonus we absolutely made the most of.

These two couldn’t have made my job easier. You can see in their photos how comfortable, relaxed, and so obviously in love they are.

When doing portraits with couples, we always love mixing movement with stillness and using as many different spots as the venue will give us. It makes for a gallery that feels full of life, emotion, and energy.

Myan and Nick’s wedding at Rippon Lea Estate gave us everything we could ask for. The grand staircase, the greenhouse, and the sweeping lawns with the stunning heritage building behind them.

The styling at Myan and Nick’s wedding had so many lovely touches worth sharing.

The ceremony floral installation by the lake, the candlelit reception tables, and a cute little figurine of their dog on the cake. You can tell a lot of care went into every detail.

Thoughtful styling can add so much to your wedding day. It’s one of those things guests feel even if they can’t quite put their finger on why.

Myan and Nick at Rippon Lea Estate, and what a day it was.

The weather was touch and go all day, but they had decided on an outdoor ceremony, no matter what. And the weather eventually got the memo. The sun came out for the ceremony, a little drizzle came and went, and the whole thing was just pertect.

Rippon Lea gave us so many beautiful spots to work with. And those florals! So vibrant and full of life, just like these two.

Oh and a fun full circle moment: Nick is actually the younger brother of one of Adam’s old high school friends! Some days just feel like they were meant to happen, and this absolutely was.

Your wedding party will be with you for most of the day - getting ready, portraits, the ceremony, all of it. So it’s worth being really intentional about who you choose.

From what I’ve seen, the couples who are most relaxed and present on their wedding day are those who surround themselves with people who genuinely calm them down, hype them up, and make the whole thing feel fun and easy.

The size of your wedding party doesn’t really factor into it. Some of my favourite wedding parties have been two people. Some have been ten. And some couples have skipped it altogether and still had the best day.

Choose the people who make you feel comfortable, loved, and ready to enjoy every second of your wedding.

Your shoes are one of those things that can make or break how you feel on the day. The right pair ties your whole look together and keeps you comfortable enough to actually enjoy the day - from your ceremony all the way to the last song.

Kelly and Joseph’s wedding at Quat Quatta was classic, intentional, and completely theirs.

They got ready at the same Airbnb, did their portraits before the ceremony, sat down to a lunch reception, and ended the day with an epic party on the dance floor. Not your traditional wedding by any means, and it worked SO beautifully.

There are no rules when it comes to planning your wedding day (besides the legal bits). Be guided by what actually matters to you both, and the rest will fall into place.
