Just gingerbread, but very good gingerbread, with all the little joys & seasonal aromas of Christmas.
Nicely spiced, complex & malty from the treacle & maple syrup, & slightly nutty from the coconut oil & butter combo.
Goes very well with fresh cream for a smooth finish.

Ngl I dream of stuffing my face with this cake every festive season.

Floral Gingerbread Guinness cakes.
Rich from the stout & beautifully spiced,
with fresh cream on top that echoes the frothy head on a glass of stout.
Like a festive slice of the drink,
but in cake dressed with candied orange, little rosemary trees & seasonal flowers.

Fluffy chocolate cake infused with earl grey, paired with alternating layers of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry & quince preserves, & frosted in vanilla buttercream.
In wedding hues of sage & champagne.

Still thinking about these divine choc sea salt gingerbread cookies I make every Christmas season. & the Christmas treat boxes filled with festive goodies like banana gingerbread, spiced pumpkin pie, brown butter gingerbread blondies & vanilla bean-infused candied orange slices.
