Exploring this region via boat made me feel like an ocean voyager, and there was nothing more magical than being lulled to sleep by the ocean and waking up to sunrise over the water.

This is a collection of 26 islands called the Komodo Islands, and they are only a one-hour flight from Bali.

This is disappearing.

The Arctic might look like a timeless, Christmas landscape. But in reality, this place is changing rapidly — faster than most regions on Earth.

Rising temperatures are thawing permafrost, shifting vegetation patterns, altering waterways, and reshaping the habitats of species and communities that have adapted to survive in this extreme environment.

Climate change is especially visible here, but it is not limited to here. It is happening everywhere.

And there is something you can do….

(and it’s more effective than using a disposable coffee cup)….
