Beautiful Christo is retired with me at Emmerson Park and he willingly joined me for a practice shoot recently. For Christo this meant a long walk from the 15 acre retirement paddock he shares with his friends Pixie and Rocklilly to get a bonus feed while enjoying a head to toe pamper session with brushes and cuddles, carrots and scratches. He took it all in his stride like the practised gentleman he is and stood patiently for me taking photos. He was unimpressed by my usual ear tricks but generously pointed them forwards at regular intervals as he watched Hope and Prince dance around their nearby paddock.

I will share some more from this gentle giants shoot so keep a watch on the page for reels and stills.

This is my beautiful Flame, Quickfire R. I bought this beautiful yearling as a one month old and hope to spend the next few decades creating a lifetime of memories together.
