Reuben Way is a Credit Adviser at Azura Financial, with over a decade in mortgage broking behind him. It's always a pleasure photographing someone who takes their personal brand as seriously as their clients — a mindset that goes a long way in an industry built on relationships and referrals. Proud to have played a small part in that for Reuben.

"The experience was nothing short of spectacular... Olivia is not merely a photographer; she's an artist who knows how to bring out the best in you."
— Lira Y., Ageless Over 40 client

Some of the best portraits happen in the moments no one is trying to look good for the camera — they're just in something. A memory, a joke, a feeling. That's the whole idea behind the Ageless Over 40 Project.

These sittings are a slower, richer kind of portrait experience — full studio lighting, guided posing (genuinely, no experience required), and the kind of direction that gets you laughing before you've even noticed the photos being taken.

We're taking enquiries now for our next Ageless Over 40 session on Saturday 5 September — by appointment, and spaces are limited. Send me a message if you'd like to know more.

There's a particular window with teenagers — somewhere between being little kids and being fully grown — where they're figuring out who they are, in front of you, in real time. One is suddenly eye-level with Dad. The other still tucks in close without thinking about it. Give it another year and it'll all look different again.

This is the part of family photography I love most: not posing everyone into a stiff group shot, but catching how they actually are with each other — who laughs first, who leans on who, what "relaxed" looks like for each of them.

If you've got teenagers at home, you already know how fast this window closes. Currently taking enquiries for family sessions — message us or visit the website to chat about what a session with your family could look like.

Marita is one of the best listeners I've ever photographed.

She arrived with total clarity — professional, modern, edgy, trustworthy, authentic. But what struck me most wasn't the brief, it was how present she was. Warm. Engaged. Genuinely curious about the process, asking thoughtful questions, taking everything in.

She brought a red blazer hoping it might add some energy. It photographed beautifully — but together we realised it read more corporate bank branding than her own personal brand. So we listened to what the camera was telling us and went with clean white and grey instead. Versatile, authentic, completely her.

That's the thing about a great session — it's a conversation, not a performance. And Marita is exceptional at that conversation, in front of the camera and clearly in her career too.

Farrah came to me with a clear brief: professional, relatable, engaging. No stiff, posed corporate look.

Her previous headshot was a cropped photo from a wedding or event — she can't even remember which one. It was her, but it didn't match how she wanted to be seen as the corporate professional she is.

So she invested in herself. And we got the shot.

Swipe to see where she started. And where she landed.

That's the difference a proper session makes.

Corporate photos aren't about looking perfect. They're about looking like you — the version of you that's earned the seat at the table.

Linda came in for professional photos ahead of stepping into her role as General Manager. What she left with was a set of images she was genuinely proud to put her name to, and a session she said felt easy from start to finish.

That's the part people don't expect — that a headshot session can actually be fun and enjoyable. It's not about performing "professional." It's about feeling like yourself, camera or not.

If your current photos don't reflect where you are now, I'd love to hear your story. 0426 293 388.

Chris and I go way back. We worked together in corporate finance years ago — so when his wife (who'd already been to see me for her own headshots) decided it was time for him to update his professional image, I knew exactly what we were in for.

He arrived a little nervous. We started chatting. And then I saw it — the moment he relaxed, his shoulders came down, and he just locked in. That's the shot.
The best part? Chris didn't even have a LinkedIn profile when he walked in.
He does now. And he couldn't be prouder of it.

That's what a great headshot does — it gives you the confidence to show up.

Cristina has spent over 25 years holding space for others — listening, guiding, helping people find their way through some of life's most difficult moments.

When she walked into the studio, she brought that same quiet confidence with her. She knew exactly what she wanted. She arrived ready. And within minutes, we were just two people connecting over something she'd been putting off for far too long.

Her previous headshot? A DIY effort by a family member. Lovely in intent — but not quite the image that matched who she is and what she offers the world.

These do.
