Four months already.

Thinking about a new website? The words matter, but so do the images 📸

This week I photographed a team whose website copy and mock-up were written before the shoot, so every image was planned for a section of the site: banners with space for headlines, relaxed team shots, formal portraits and everything in between.

The result is an image library they can use across their website, LinkedIn, social media and presentations.

Such a fun collaboration with Beck from Marketing Goodness, who wrote the copy, and Pauline Demirjian on hair, makeup and assisting 💛

Best. Birthday present. Ever.

He booked this session for her birthday — and somehow got two busy working parents, two teens and one very photogenic pup to the same place at the same time. Under the jacarandas, no less. Legend.

(The pup stole the show. Obviously.)

I always sneak in a few frames of just the two of them. Partners in life, raising teens together, riding this crazy rollercoaster side by side — that deserves a photo too.

Then down to the harbour, because why not.

What does a first family photoshoot feel like?

For Kirti, it started well before the camera came out — questions answered, nerves settled, everyone ready to just enjoy it. On the day, it was all about 10 month old Vyomi. Letting her be comfortable, happy and completely herself.

And then the prints arrived.

"Seeing our photographs in print feels completely different — they almost bring those beautiful moments back to life."

A great headshot shows your face. A great portrait in your own space shows what you do.

Dr Hugh Fleming has been caring for patients since the 1980s, and his Mosman practice specialises in all-ceramic cosmetic dentistry and implants. Alongside his classic headshot, we captured him in his own consult room, model in hand.

She's an ophthalmologist with two young kids — finding time for a headshot session kept slipping down the list.
