A very special extended family session to share 🤍

Captured just after Christmas, while everyone was still together in Sydney, this shoot brought together three sisters, their growing families, and the grandparents – such a rare and meaningful moment to have everyone in one place.

These sessions are always a beautiful mix of chaos and connection… cousins running around, lots of laughter, and yes – even a few “silly walks” thrown in for good measure!

What I love most about extended family sessions is capturing not just the posed portraits, but the in-between moments – the bonds between siblings, the pride of grandparents, and the joy of being surrounded by family.

These are the memories that only get more valuable with time ✨

Following on from this beautiful team … now it’s time to spotlight their individual talent ✨

Alongside all the fun group energy, we always carve out time during these sessions for individual portraits – giving each dancer the chance to showcase their own strength, skill and style.

From powerful leaps to elegant lines and those in-between moments of focus and confidence… it’s such a privilege to capture each dancer as an individual, not just as part of the team 💃

Every dancer brings something unique, and these portraits are all about celebrating that.

Kicking off our catch-up posts with one of my favourites from recently 💃✨
A fun outdoor dance shoot with the Extension Dance Team at – an annual tradition that I always look forward to!
Each year we head to a new location with this incredible group (ages 8–18) and spend a high-energy two hours capturing everything that makes this team so special. It’s fast-paced, full of laughter, and such a joy to photograph.
What I love most about working with is their focus on connection – it’s all about enjoying dance, supporting each other, and having fun with friends. That’s exactly what we aim to capture in every image 💚

It’s been a little quiet on here… but for a very good reason!

The first few months of the year have been incredibly busy behind the scenes, with a huge school photography season under our sister brand Natural Child School Photography www.ncsphotos.com.au

Alongside that, we’ve been juggling a wonderful mix of shoots including:
✨ Dance photography – both in studio and outdoors
✨ Family and extended family portraits
✨ Cricket season coverage – action shots, finals, team photos, headshots & presentations
✨ Corporate headshots

It’s been a full and rewarding start to the year, capturing so many special moments across a wide range of sessions.

Now that things are settling slightly, I’m looking forward to sharing more of this work with you – so stay tuned for plenty of updates, sneak peeks and recent shoots coming your way!

Had an absolute blast photographing the incredible team at recently! 🙌
What a warm, talented, mostly female-led group—full of laughs, support, and the kind of workplace camaraderie everyone dreams of.
We set out to capture the true essence of their business, and I think you’ll see that energy, connection, and confidence shining through in their headshots and team photos. ✨
I even came home and told my husband I’m now patiently waiting for a job opening there—because who wouldn’t want to work with such a fun, inspiring crew every day? 😂

🎅🌊 Aussie Santa @ Long Reef Beach Update! 🌊🎅

We are having so much fun with this year’s Aussie Santa sessions! Last Sunday was absolutely picture-perfect — sunshine, sea breeze, and plenty of laughter. It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces who come back year after year… honestly one of my favourite parts of the season. ❤️

We still have sessions available, especially during the weekdays if you’re after a quieter time. Weekends are fully booked, but spots do pop up when people reschedule — in fact, one session for this Sunday has just become available!

🎅🌊 First Aussie Santa Photos session of the season!

Last Sunday kicked things off beautifully — a bit windy, but the sun was shining, the kite surfers were out, and the beach had that classic Long Reef energy. ☀️💨🪁

What made it extra special was seeing so many familiar faces. Many of the families have been coming to Aussie Santa Photos for years, I think the average last Sunday was around five years, some have been all 11 years! It honestly means the world to watch their families grow each season. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came along and embraced the breeze — can’t wait for the rest of the sessions ahead!

💍✨ What a celebration!

Claire and Carlos tied the knot in an intimate elopement with close family, then gathered everyone together for a fantastic party at in Brookvale. 🍻🎉

The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and full of love — the perfect way to celebrate with friends and extended family. I was so happy to be there capturing all the fun, laughter, and those little moments that make the memories last. ❤️
