Nothing means more to me than knowing my clients walked away feeling seen, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire experience.

When you choose me to photograph your family, your little ones, or your special moments, I want it to feel easy, relaxed, and memorable from beginning to end - not just beautiful photos, but an experience you’ll look back on fondly too.

What a beautiful way to begin such a special evening.

Before the celebrations, we took the time to create photographs that Alyssa and her family will treasure for years to come. That’s what I love most about pre-formal sessions - they become part of the memory, not just a record of it.

Planning a high school formal? There are two beautiful ways to capture the memories. ✨

Option 1 - A dedicated pre-formal photo session.
We spend the first hour at a favourite outdoor Brisbane location capturing elegant portraits with your family. Then, for the second hour, the friends and partners arrive for all the fun group photographs before everyone heads off to the formal or pre-celebrations.

Option 2 - Coverage at your pre-formal celebration
I come to the home where the pre-formal celebrations are being held and photograph everyone with their partners (or without), individual portraits, with the parents, beautiful candid moments in between, and those epic group shots that everyone treasures. And of course, the excitement of everyone driving away to their formal. ❤️

Whichever option you choose, the goal is the same - creating beautiful memories of one of the most exciting milestones of high school.

One of the questions I’m asked most is… Can we include the family?
Absolutely. ❤️

A pre-formal session is about so much more than beautiful portraits of your daughter or son.

It’s a chance to celebrate a milestone together before she heads off to one of the biggest nights of her school years.

For Alyssa’s session, we photographed the whole family - including her grandparents - creating beautiful memories across generations before the celebrations began.

Those photographs will become just as meaningful as the formal itself.

It’s the little details that complete the look. ✨

The pretty nails, the handbag, the jewellery and all those carefully chosen finishing touches - each one part of getting ready for such a special occasion.

I love looking out for these details during a formal session because they’re such an important part of the story.

Years from now, it’s lovely to look back and remember not only the gown, but all the little things that made the day feel so special. ❤️

There’s something so beautiful about letting go for a moment, swirling your dress and simply enjoying the excitement of the day. The happiest smiles are often the ones that happen naturally.

Her family had found this fabulous location before the session, and it was the perfect place to create photographs that felt elegant, joyful and full of life. ❤️

I love photographs like this because they capture so much more than how someone looks - they capture who they are at this moment in their life.

Elegant, graceful and absolutely stunning. ❤️

One of the details I loved most about Alyssa’s gown was the beautiful lace-up back. It was such a pretty design, and this gentle moment felt like the perfect way to capture it.

Combined with the beautiful location, it created such a lovely setting to celebrate a milestone she’ll remember for years to come.
