Why Print?

Because photos deserve to be more than something we scroll past.

Kids grow up. Moments pass. And somehow, our favourite memories end up buried in a camera roll.

There’s something special about having a photo on the wall… something you can see, hold and come back to for years!

That’s why I created The Wandering Stone Online Print Store 💛

And if you’ve had a session with me, your photos can make the same journey —> camera - print - wall !

A little West Beach magic with Fin and Mitch 💛

Golden light, salty air and two people very much in love!

Couple shoots are one of my favourite ways to capture this season of life. There isn’t always the need for a big occasion, we just need the two of you, somewhere you love, doing what you do best (being together 💁🏼‍♀️)!

Although these two do have a pretty special day waiting for them soon ✨

The end of winter is nearly upon us… and gosh I just love spring so much! 🌼

The wildflowers, the glorious weather, and of course, the new beginnings. There’s something about spring that just feels like a fresh start! The colour seems to come back to life and flowers appear.

And maybe this spring I’ll be bringing a little more of that colour into your homes too 👀

Something new is coming 💛

April with Taylor and Tyson 💛

These two were brand new parents when I got the honour of photographing their wedding day, and despite everything that comes with a wedding and a newborn, they were so calm, so in love and simply let the day unfold around them! The weather even decided to turn around for their afternoon, giving them the most gorgeous arvo to celebrate!

A beautiful reminder that sometimes the best wedding days are the ones where you slow down, soak it all in and just enjoy being together! 🥰

My 2027 Wedding Calendar is now open! If you’re planning your wedding and would love me to document it all as it naturally unfolds, I’d love to hear from you!

Hi, I’m Amelia 👋

The face behind The Wandering Stone.

And if there’s one thing you should know about me…
I rarely go anywhere without my camera 📷 It’s been with me on every road trip, adventure, overseas travels, farm days, camping trip and every other thing in between!

If you hadn’t worked it out already, I’m a bit of an adventure person… I love getting out, exploring somewhere new, finding hidden gems and of course chasing every golden sunset.

I think that’s where my love of photography really comes from… I don’t just want to photograph the big, planned moments. I love capturing everything that happens along the way! 🥰

The muddy boots, the family chaos, quiet moments, and of course the sunsets you nearly miss. My favourite thing ever is the little moments that become big memories 💌

And that’s what my business is really all about 🤩Going where the adventure takes me, camera in hand and documenting the people, places and moments that make life what it is.

What started as something I did because I loved it has slowly become something bigger! Lately, I’ve been making more room for The Wandering Stone. I’m pretty excited about where this adventure is heading 💛

A favourite moment of mine from this winter ❄️🔥

One of the best ways to pass time during winter in Kalgoorlie is to pack up the car and head out bush for the weekend (obviously with an insane amount of layers packed and a lot of firewood handy)! A few weekends ago we went out bush with some friends and found this absolute treasure to park up at for the night!

Obviously I had to wake up nice and early and was super excited when it payed off with these incredible sunrise colours! 😍 because of this, it quickly became one of our favourite ever camp spots!

Where’s your favourite ever camp spot? ⛺️

The big dance.

After all the build up, the big weekend had finally arrived and everyone was hyped up and ready to go! Enjoy a small collection of photos I got from the Finke Desert Race 2026 (while also trying to hold my nerves at bay!).

🏜️ FinkeTrip 2026 🌵 pt. 2

Next up - we made it to Alice Springs! From there it was a week of getting everything ready for the big race! Lots of time spent running along the track, exploring around the town and laughing with lots of new friends! Does it get much better than that?! 🥂

🏜️ Finke Trip 2026 🌵 pt 1.

You know the trip was a good one when you have to make a post of its own for the first two days just driving there!😍

We started our journey leaving from Kal on a random Wednesday a matter of weeks ago, and our first day saw us driving along the Great Central until the sun went down and our camp spot was upon us. The next day we hit the road and made our way into the NT, passing lots of brumbies and camels on our way, before making it to the incredible Uluru in time for a quick explore before settling in for sunset. And boy oh boy it was a goodie!

Swipe through to the end to see the sunset progression at Uluru… I promise it doesn’t disappoint! 🤩

Stay tuned for all the parts to follow… we spent three weeks on the road with my camera by my side the whole time, so I’ve got so many exciting memories to share!
