Kat Tait Photography Hi my name is Katrina Tait and I live in Jimboomba, halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane with my wonderful husband and four children.

I am a natural light photographer who covers Maternity, Newborn, Kids/Family, Cake Smash, Couples and Weddings. I have a large air conditioned studio and also do location shoots. I love meeting so many amazing people and capturing the most important times in your life from your growing bump, to those tiny baby details to cheeky toddlers and more. Sessions will be 30 minutes, $150 for the session and 5 high res images (extra's available for purchase). Dates are Thursday November 12th, Saturday November 14th and Sunday November 15th.

The highlight of my husband's year is always getting to hang my Christmas backdrop. Standing on a chair trying to tack it to the wall, making sure it's sitting straight with me giving (very helpful) tips the whole time. It's a great bonding time for us and always brings much happiness šŸ˜¬. Anyway this year was no exception and even came with a bonus hole in the wall he accidentally made with the hammer! Luckily it's only small and he is looking forward to helping me further by patching it up!
So here are the 2026 Christmas mini test shots!! It is likely they will be the weekend of the 14th and 15th of November. Bookings will go live on September 1st. Love to hear your thoughts on this year's drop!

Time for some solo photos of little Stella and isn't she just fabulous in every single pose. She tried very hard to escape my wrapping as you can see with that adorable little hand poking out, I think she has some good determination in her! What a session today! This beautiful mum has been one of my eldest daughter's high school teachers (and her favourite one) until she left to have Bub. You could not meet a kinder, more happy and bubbly person and I am pretty sure she has had a very positive influence on every child she has taught. When they arrived today they didn't realise they were also going to be in a photo. For a tired new set of parents who didn't realise they were going to be in a photo don't they look incredible!! Just the perfect outfits without even trying as well!! Their little bundle of joy Stella is soooo beautiful and I love that Meg's colour choices matched exactly with my favourite looks. I have to make a special comment about dad Mick here and say that he is one of the most caring and considerate first time dads I have ever seen and his lovely wife and baby will be well looked after. Lookout for some more of little Stella in the coming days.
