Hi all, a few images from Dubbo Zoo today. Well worth visiting. Took a full day to get around all the enclosures. I enjoyed see the Asian Small-clawed Otters which were very active giving me quite a show running, swimming and eating.

I entered only prints in the show and this was my first time entering the Brisbane show.
My results from the RNA Royal Brisbane Show for my entries were 'Adjusting Ballet Shoes' Highly Commended in Monochrome OPEN Portrait/People Section.
Little Masterpiece received a 2nd in the Colour Open Portrait/People Print Section.
Time Traveller received a 3rd and 'Free Spirit' received a 'Highly Commended' in Monochrome Novice Any Subject.
Suspended Geometry sold twice at the show which was a 8x12 inch metallic Print

Hi all, Last Tuesday nights critique at club, Ipswich Photographic was the subject of 'Leading Lines'. I received a Merit for 'Guided by Light' and a Honour for 'Leading to Gold' for my printed images. I also received a Merit for 'Into the Mist' and lastly an acceptance for 'Path to Discovery' for my digital images.

I had the pleasure of capturing Michaela's formal photo's yesterday before she headed off to enjoy her special night. Michaela looked beautiful in her stunning blue dress, and it was lovely to capture these moments with her date as well. Two special cars were an added touch to make the evening even more special. I took a drive around the country areas heading towards Mt Walker & saw this Black Shouldered Kite sitting very nicely for me to take a few shots. These birds are common in these areas but it’s always a thrill to see one. Often on power lines, dead trees or fence posts. Look at those eyes! Love the country!!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending some time with this lovely lady for a special little photography shoot, capturing some beautiful pieces connected to her heritage. Heke brought along a wonderful collection of artefacts from New Zealand, each with its own character and story. It was such a lovely opportunity to photograph some meaningful pieces and the history behind it.

Captured these images of some cute little wrens seen at Colleges Crossing lately. I particularly loved seeing the very fluffy female wren. I've enjoyed seeing these superb wrens back along the river edge. Hope you enjoy these too!
