We love travelling to interesting places, experience the culture and food each place has to offer. These stories are told from perspectives of two Malaysian couple Jun (Kampung Boy) and Florence (Kampung Girl) who has been abroad for many years. 帶爸媽出來旅行，整個節奏都不一樣了——慢下來，但慢得很舒服。

成都就是這種城市。我們去了那個在網上瘋傳的熊貓景點，就在優衣庫旁邊爬來爬去的那隻——媽媽的反應真的值回票價。然後慢慢逛武侯祠，沒有趕時間，就這樣走走停停，感受一下三國的氣氛。

晚上看了蜀風雅韻的表演，變臉是重頭戲。那種東西真的要親眼看才明白為什麼大家都說厲害——看完還是不知道他們怎麼做到的，但就是覺得很震撼。

第二天去了熊貓谷，大熊貓跟小熊貓都看到了。小熊貓坐在那裡什麼都不做，但偏偏就是那樣最可愛。莫名其妙地站在那裡看了很久。

不是每一趟旅行都需要把行程塞滿。有時候就是帶著爸媽去一個美的地方，然後好好待著就夠了。

There’s something about travelling with your parents that slows everything down in the best way.

Chengdu was the perfect city for it. We did the viral panda spot near Uniqlo (mum’s reaction alone was worth it), walked through Wuhou Shrine taking our time, caught the Shufen Yayun show that evening — face-changing is one of those things you have to see to understand why people make such a big deal of it — and spent a morning at Panda Valley watching giant pandas and red pandas do absolutely nothing productive and somehow that was the best part of the day.

Not every trip needs to be packed. Sometimes you just bring your parents somewhere beautiful and let it be.

濟州東部一天，行程塞到滿出來⋯⋯但完全不後悔。

早上爬城山日出峰，站在火山口邊緣那一刻真的會愣住，風景美得很不真實。但最讓我們驚喜的，是山腳下的海女表演。一輩子靠潛水討生活的女性，看著她們真的很感動。

午餐在明進全鰒，點了鮑魚粥跟奶油烤鮑魚。那個奶油鮑魚完全出乎意料，簡單但好吃到說不出話來。

下午到雪綠茶博物館，抹茶麵條一定要點（真的是抹茶做的麵！），然後就在那片茶園裡站著拍照，怎麼拍都好看，捨不得走。

中間還塞了個Hello Kitty Island 😂 這次是跟 合作的濟州行，想找好玩景點或體驗的話可以去 headout.com 逛逛，選擇很多！

濟州真的每次來都讓你有新發現。

East Jeju in one day and honestly we packed way too much in… but zero regrets.

Started the morning climbing Seongsan Ilchulbong — the crater view at the top is one of those moments where you just stand there for a bit. But the highlight we didn’t expect? Watching the haenyeo perform at the base. These women are something else.

Lunch was at Myeongjin Jeonbok — abalone porridge and abalone gui with butter. The butter one especially. We were not prepared.

Then Osulloc Tea Museum in the afternoon, where we had the matcha noodles (yes, matcha noodles) and just… stood in the middle of that tea farm for way too long taking photos.

济州岛的海风，真的吹得人心里很踏实。
今天在西归浦晃了一整天。在正房瀑布（Jeongbang Waterfall）看海水直接冲击入海，那种震撼真的很难用照片完全表达出来。
之后去了独立岩（Oedolgae）散步，吹着海风看悬崖边的风景，心情真的会变好。午餐特地去了中门非常有名的“Jungmun Galchi Norut”尝了烤带鱼，那条带鱼长得夸张，口感又嫩又鲜，是真的名不虚传。
傍晚去了药泉寺（Yakcheonsa Temple），整座寺庙非常壮观又宁静，在那边待一会儿，整个人的步调都慢下来了。
济州岛就是有一种魔力，总能让人在奔波中找到一点呼吸的空间。这几个地方，你最想去哪一个？

The Jeju wind hits differently, doesn‘t it?
We spent the day in Seogwipo, and honestly, there’s something so grounding about the south side of the island. We started off at Jeongbang Waterfall—standing that close to the water crashing straight into the ocean is a reminder of how small we really are. Definitely worth the walk.
Took a stroll around Oedolgae afterwards to soak in those cliffside views before heading to Jungmun to finally try the famous grilled hairtail fish at Jungmun Galchi Norut. If you’ve never had it, it’s basically an endless strip of melt-in-your-mouth perfection.
Wrapped up the afternoon at Yakcheonsa Temple. It’s quiet, massive, and the energy there just makes you want to stop and breathe for a second.
Jeju really knows how to feed the soul. Which of these spots would you hit first?

Surprise upgrade to a luxury suite — and our window looks directly onto Labrang Monastery. One of the most significant Tibetan Buddhist sites in the world. Just... right there.

The room had a full reading nook stocked with Tibetan culture books, hand-embroidered decor with gold threading, and a meditation corner. No air-con (you’re at 3,000m — you won’t need it), but the vibe more than made up for it.

This is exactly the kind of travel moment you can’t plan for — you just have to show up.

本来订的是普通房，没想到他们帮我们upgrade了 😳

豪华套房，而且窗口直接望出去就是拉卜楞寺！

房间里有一个专门的阅读角，放了好多西藏文化的书，床头有手工金线刺绣的装饰，还有一个可以打坐冥想的角落。没有冷气——但3000米的海拔，根本用不上。

这种旅行的惊喜，是计划不来的。

Everything you see here is made entirely from yak butter. By hand. By monks.

This is the butter sculpture museum inside Labrang Monastery — one of the “Three Arts” of Tibetan Buddhism alongside thangka painting and appliqué embroidery.

The detail is insane. And here’s the part that blew my mind — to sculpt at this level of precision, the monks have to keep dipping their hands in ice water so the butter doesn’t melt from their body heat.

This tradition started in the 15th century and is still alive today. Every year on the 15th day of the Lunar New Year, new sculptures are made and displayed.

I genuinely didn’t expect this to be the most unforgettable part of our visit. But here we are.

拉卜楞寺里面有一个酥油花博物馆，里面所有的佛像、花卉装饰，每一件都是僧人用双手雕刻的。

最让我震惊的是：为了不让牛油被手的温度融化，工匠在雕刻的时候要不断把手泡进冰水里，才能继续操作。

这门艺术从15世纪传承到现在，每年正月十五都会制作新的酥油花展出。

进去看到的瞬间真的傻眼了——完全没想到会有这么精细的东西藏在这里。

去甘南的朋友，这个一定要进去看！

3 kilometres. 1,700+ prayer wheels. And complete silence except for the sound of spinning.

This is the world‘s longest prayer wheel corridor — at Labrang Monastery in Gannan, China. Every wheel contains sacred scriptures, and turning one is believed to be the equivalent of reciting those prayers out loud.

We walked it alongside pilgrims who had travelled their entire lives to be here. Nobody rushing. Nobody on their phones.

In a world that’s always speeding up, this felt like the most radical thing we‘ve done all year — just slow down.

3公里，1700多个转经轮，这是全世界最长的转经廊，就在甘肃甘南的拉卜楞寺。

每一个轮子里面都装着经文，转动一圈就等于读诵了一次。我们走的时候旁边都是藏族朝圣者，没有人在赶时间，没有人在刷手机，大家都安安静静的走着，默念着。

那种宁静，是我在城市里很久没感受过的东西。
