Eastern Spinebills are a small honeyeater which dart and flutter around very fast! They eat nectar and also grab flying insects 💐

I like spiders, and he's not dangerous, but it still gave me a fright 🫣😱

Net-casting spider - instead of building a web in a tree, they hold a small, rectangular sticky web between their front legs and cast it out to catch prey 🕸️

You may have heard of the Golden Orb Weaver with its golden web...

But have you ever seen a spiderweb glowing rainbow at night? 🤩🌈🕸️🕷️

This was the non sticky web from an orb weaver, I'm not sure what the spider was doing because it certainly wasn't making a web, just making a mess 😂

Try spotting her in the second last photo - she looks just like a gumnut!! Which is equally cool and terrifying during the day if you're working in the garden 😂😬

Here is my echidna friend digging into the lawn, having found an ant nest!! 🐜 If you look closely at the start and towards the end of the video, you can see the ants crawling over his face 🐜🐜🐜

My purpose on this page is to share my love and enthusiasm for all things (but mostly Aussie native) animals, birds, bugs, frogs, plants, flowers and everything in between. 🦜🐸🌿🌸🦘🌳

With that said, I'd like to give a huge shout and thank you to everyone who's been a part of my journey and hopefully found joy and some interesting facts out of my photos and posts... As I've just clocked over 1000 followers!!! 👏🤩

To celebrate, I wanted to share the absolute most special moment I've ever captured, which happened only two weeks ago - this gorgeous echidna spent the afternoon wandering through my garden. Here he is finding a water dish and having a drink and climbing in for a nice cool off 😌💦

More videos to come as it only lets me post one at a time 🫤
