A little throwback to me with my beautiful horses, Meg and Danny. ❤️

I've been a horse girl for as long as I can remember. Horses were my safe place, my teachers, my best friends, and such a huge part of my life.

So seeing what's happening to the brumbies right now is something I find incredibly difficult.

I don't care what side of the debate you're on.

When I look at a horse, I don't see a political issue.

I see a living, feeling animal capable of fear, stress, pain and suffering.

You don't have to agree on the solution to agree that suffering is suffering.

Today, my heart is with the brumbies. 🐴💔

Tell me about the pet that changed your life. ❤️
Not your current pet.
Not your first pet.
The one that left a mark on your heart forever.
The one whose name still makes you smile.
The one you still think about years later.
For me, that pet was a Kelpie called Brodie.
He was my childhood dog and honestly, he was the best.
He’d happily sit on your lap like a cat, despite definitely not being lap-dog sized. He was incredibly smart, always ready to chase a ball, go for a walk.
But more than anything, he just loved being with his people.
Looking back, he’s probably the reason I’ve always loved working breeds. He’s also the reason I ended up with a Rough Collie. I’d still love a Kelpie or Border Collie one day, but these days I know I don’t quite have the time to keep up with that level of energy! 😅
It’s funny how one pet can shape so much of who we become.

Most people know me for photographing dogs, but I also photograph rabbits, cats, horses and other beloved pets too.

Rabbits may be small, but the bond we share with them is anything but.
Their quirky personalities, soft little noses, zoomies around the house, and the way they quietly become part of the family deserve to be remembered just as much as any other pet.

Whether your bunny is young, senior, or simply your soul pet, I’d love to help you capture beautiful memories together. 🐰❤️

🌿 June Compassion Campaign 🌿
This June, I’ll be donating $50 from every photography session booked to support the incredible work of Free the Bears.
After seeing some of the bears they’ve rescued from bile farms and the lives they’ve changed, I felt moved to do something to help.

By booking a session, you’ll not only be creating memories with your own beloved pet—you’ll also be helping bears in need.

I recently came across ‘Free The Bears’ who rescues bears from horrible bile farms, and honestly I haven’t stopped thinking about their work since.

Seeing these beautiful animals rescued from cruelty and finally given safety and care absolutely broke my heart 🥺🤍

My work has always been about compassion for animals, and I wanted to find a small way to give back beyond photography.

So throughout June, $50 from every session booked will be donated to Free The Bears 🐻

Compassion matters.
Kindness matters.
Every animal deserves safety, love, and a chance at a better life.

Good.
I don’t want perfectly trained.
I don’t want stiff poses.
I want them.
The way they lean into you.
The way they look at you.
The little quirks you never want to forget.
My sessions are slow, gentle, and completely at your dog’s pace 🤍
This is especially important for senior or soul pets.

Everyone always said working in oncology would be depressing.
But it was full of the best clients,
the best team,
and the most loved pets.
So much joy, alongside the sadness.
Pet cancer is cruel.
As an oncology nurse, I saw it every day.
But the love people have for their pets…
that’s something I’ll never forget. 🤍
