I cant tell you how different it feels when you can tell the couple did things 100% the way they chose to ✨🤍 A backyard wedding, a traditional dress, Annie did her makeup her self, her and Diesel spent the time in the lead up to getting dressed for the wedding ceremony together. Two families coming together, spending the morning in the same household. It was easy, there was room to breathe, there was no hustling. I love this moment, where Annies mum kissed Annie on the cheek, and we all burst out laughing with the red lips left in place of the kiss. Annies words while we were trying to remove it were “it’s part of the day now”. If that isnt a better mantra for a wedding day, I dont know what is. Whatever happens on your wedding day, if you look at it as “it’s part of the day now” you can reframe your entire mindset. More of these please ✨🤍

Sarah 🤍✨
We rode a rollercoaster of emotions together yesterday and I am in awe of this beautiful woman, her strength and her family, who also stole my heart. It was a honour

The two things that keep me going on this self employed journey while Im trying not to freak out about the state of the economy / the government / if you dont laugh you’ll cry /

My clients and the freedom to take Murphy for a walk on a Friday because I feel like it ✨ Self employment is a wild ride and I would be lying if I said that it wasnt a scary time for small business in Australia at the moment. We take the glimmers anywhere we can ✨

Whether we like it or not, the industry and the world is evolving in the way we communicate and share on social media. We want real and unpolished, I know it’s all I want to see now on my own feed. But gosh it’s scary when it’s actually you as the one to be posting just as you are, unpolished and authentically you. Because deep down in your belly you think “what if they don’t like me as I truly am?”. I always thought I was pretty confident with who I am, but that little question niggling in my belly has stopped me time after time and as I watch my own babies I hope they never let the fear of other people not liking them stop them from doing anything they feel called to do. As usual, it is the kids and what I want for them that continues to propel me forward, embracing growth and all the parts of ourselves 🤍
