Slow season thoughts 💭
Trying to stay relevant.
Trying to find new clients.
Trying to post the right content while my brain sounds like this audio 🤯

Post more. Be consistent. Try reels. Try trends. Try EVERYTHING.
Meanwhile… I’m raising 4 little humans who need snacks every 5 minutes 🫠

This is what slow season really looks like.
Still showing up. Still dreaming. Still creating - even in the chaos 🤍

Things I’d tell you as your photographer… if I wasn’t afraid of hurting your feelings 😅📸

But because I do care about you, your photos, and future you hanging these on the wall… here we go (with love 😘).

✨ This is not judgement - this is photographer honesty ✨

🤍 I don’t edit bodies into something they’re not.
I’ll smooth, enhance and polish -
but I won’t make you “skinny” or reshape you into a stranger.
You deserve to look like you, just on your best day.

🤍 Fake tans + photography = enemies.
They go green, orange, patchy and uneven on camera and they’re a nightmare to fix.
If you’re unsure… skip it. Your natural skin always photographs better.

🤍 You want candid photos…
… but then you pose, freeze and ask “what do I do”.
The magic happens when you stop trying and just be.
I’ll guide you so you don’t feel lost.

🤍 The weather is unpredictable. Always.
But lighting matters more than blue skies.
Super overcast days make skin tones look muddy and leave your images looking flat.
If we need to reschedule we’ll reschedule.

🤍 Prep Matters
* Un-ironed clothes
* Chipped nails
* Hair thrown together last minute
You’ve booked a photoshoot - future you will thank present you for preparing just a little 😉

They need to be themselves.
Forcing smiles or telling them to stop usually makes it worse. Bribery works sometimes but not all the time.
Let them move, explore, and be kids - that’s where the real moments are.

If you don’t want to be there… it shows.
Kids feel it.
Photos reflect it.
Your energy sets the tone more than you realise.

🤍 Perfect doesn’t exist.
Connection does.
Messy laughs over stiff poses
Real moments over forced ones
Movement over stillness

But in 5 years?
Timeless always wins.
