Bindi Taneal Photography My name is Bindi Nalder (nee Holzwart) and I am a photographer from Emerald, Central Queensland.

My passion for photography lies in Rural Living & Landscapes (where my heart is) and Sunsets (my favourite time of the day). I also enjoy taking photos of Animals, Seascapes (when I get the chance to visit the beach) and People (including formal shoots and families). I love taking photos and turning ordinary moments into extraordinary photographs...

You guys know I love a good tree. And the reverse sunset pinks in Winter.

Same tree, one photo looking South East, and the other two facing North East.

These are the photos of our twins I mentioned in my post yesterday ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ The chickpea crop looked like a green carpet. Think I need to take the kids back out and get some photos of all 3 of them together.

It felt SO GOOD to get out with my camera on the weekend! I didn't realise how much I had been missing it until I was laying down in the dirt getting these photos ๐Ÿ˜†

I wish I had tried to get some BTS footage but I didn't, so I'll try set the scene for you so you can imagine it instead.... I was laying down on my side in the dirt, half propped up on my elbow, trying to keep the camera straight/focused, and to start with the twins were trying to get into my photos in all sorts of weird ways (think bending down with their heads between their legs and bums pointed at the camera, but they were way too close to the camera for me to actually get a decent photo of them - I had my big 200mm lens on). Then after telling them kindly to bu**er off so I could try and get these photos I had in my head, they started running up and down the rows chasing each other which was very cute (I did get a couple of snaps of them then because they were far enough away - I'll share these another day).

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with how these turned out. I wanted to try and show the rows with the little chickpea plants in these photos and the light was *chefs kiss*. So good!

From the archives - December 2012.

I use to live half an hour from town and got some amazing photos on the drive to and from work. We live closer to town now, and the drive is no where near as exciting or beautiful.

This paddock of sorghum isn't far off being ready to harvest.

These photos are kind of same same, but different... The first was taken at f/3.5 but I wanted to see more of the mountain in the background. So I re-took it at the wider f/9 and got the look I wanted ๐Ÿ˜

It was really hard to work out what was 'straight' for these photos! The paddock runs down to a bit of a gully, then with the mountain in the background, and the sorghum stalk, there's lines there everywhere ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I love the dusty pink skies and the rich colours of the sorghum crops at this time of year ๐Ÿ˜ I haven't been out to see our crop yet this year - I will have to make sure I go for a drive out there in the next week or two!

A photo from May 2025 for - I know you love sun flares too Lexie so I hope you enjoy these!

(In case you missed it, I've been sharing from my archives because life is busy and my camera has been neglected. Feel free to request a month for me to hunt from! I have plenty of photos from the last 15 years to search through, and have been finding some gems I haven't shared before!)
