Now, it’s time to pack your things and be ready for the August meeting of the Goolwa Camera Club.

Next Wednesday 12th August, at the Currency Creek Community Hall on the Goolwa to Strath Road.

We’ll start at 11:00am with a workshop/technical session, followed by lunch and then in the afternoon, around 100 images will be appraised.
Please BYO lunch/refreshments, we will supply a cup of tea or coffee and maybe a biscuit or two!
All are most welcome and the day is free.

This month’s workshop is on ‘Getting the most out of travel photography’.

“I’m Henry the eighth, I am”!

No, Wednesday 8th July is the next GCC meeting at
the Currency Creek Hall commencing at 11:00am.

All are very welcome to attend and see how a Camera Club
works. In the morning there is a session on ‘Focus stacking’
which is the ability to ‘stack’ several images to produce
a very quality photograph.
Presenter is Brad Hodge a well-known local photographer.

After Lunch (BYO) there will be some 100+ photographs
up for appraisal. Always interesting, is the Judge’s take on
the various photos presented, both prints & projected.

BYO your refreshments, however we will supply you
with a tea or a coffee! Come along.

Welcome to all the new followers of this ‘public page’ of the Goolwa Camera Club. We now have just under 200 followers of this page, and around 45 active members in the Club.
This month’s meeting is next Wednesday 10th June starting at 11:00am, at the Currency Creek Community Hall on the ‘Goolwa to Strath’ road.
We are having a hands-on technical session first up in the morning, and following lunch, there will be an appraisal of over 100 photographs.
This months ‘SET subject’ is 'Juxtaposition' for projected images and ‘Candid people’ for colour print.
If you would like to see how the Club works, please come along to the meeting. Everyone is more than welcome. BYO Lunch, we will provide a tea or coffee and probably a biscuit or two!

It’s that time again! Next Wednesday 13th is the GCC May meeting at the Currency Creek Community Hall 5 minutes north of Goolwa. We start at 11:00am with a workshop/technical session until lunch and then after the break we commence the appraisal of around 100-110 photographs. This month’s ‘Set Subject’ is a Monochrome print of an ‘Abandoned Building’.

Visitors are more than welcome to attend, and we’ll throw in a tea or a coffee to keep you warm. BYO lunch!

The other event has been the Rotary Goolwa Art Exhibition with was run after Easter and attracted several entries from Club members. Some were lucky to win awards, and some were lucky to sell their work.
