Located in the Town Hall in Coral St and open from 10am to 4pm daily..and it's free!

Over 350 photos on display from 3 exhibitions.

Last day is Monday 26th January.

We had my camera club end of year competition presentation and Christmas dinner on Friday night.

I was lucky to win the Allan Jones Skycape Trophy for Coorong Aurora and also winner of the Image of the Year Open Mono Digital for Soft Waves.

I also won The Clean Sweep trophy, which has been 3D printed 😄 for taking out top of section for all three categories in a month. A first in the history of the club 😃.

Jumping on the aurora band wagon. A couple from Wednesday's event. I have seen the aurora bigger and brighter, but was still amazing to see the green low on the horizon (usually have cloud covering it).

Lot's of satellite bombing. Nearly every photo taken has some sort of interference..and it is only going to get worse!!

A few weeks ago on a blustery Monday evening, I made a decision to head out down towards the barrage to see what I could find.

I first came across a Black Shouldered Kite handing on for dear life in the wind. The eyes on these birds are amazing! Next was a Little Egret fishing and a Royal Spoonbill, which decided to not hang around when I pulled up. A few Great Crested Grebes at Beacon 19 along with a Great Egret

The storm front that came through on Saturday afternoon was looking impressive, so I headed down to the end of the street and decided to send the drone up.

Got a lightning strike at the 1.27 minute mark in the video. The storm was approaching fast, so after a few close rumbles, I whipped the drone down quickly, packed up and got home just as the rain started.

Last weekend, I went to Sea Lake in Victoria for our camera club's annual field trip, with emphasis on shooting out at Lake Tyrrell.

We were very lucky with the weather with calm winds for most of the days, which made for amazing conditions for sunrise and sunsets.

I sent the drone up quite a few times to get a different perspective. There is also an old bus out there which made for some fun light painting.
