Our new living room print!

Australia offers endless photographic opportunity. One of the best is the along the Great Ocean Road. After a few days of challenging weather, I experienced one of the most amazing sunsets of my life looking over this beautiful coastline. I think it would look great in your living room!

I'm also excited to offer a new printing option on the website - 'Acrylic Metal'. Printed directly onto an aluminum backing and covered with 1/4" acrylic top, these ready-to-hang art pieces really shine - you won't be disappointed! Available now in the Wall Art section.

My wife and I have gotten very into via ferrata this summer, and one of the best things is that sometimes it gives you access to places and views that you just can't get any other way - like this spectacular view of Mont Blanc from the via ferrata in Passy, France. www.davidmmorse.com

TBT to visiting Petra, Jordan, ancient home of the Nabateans. You may recognize it from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, but in fact most of the carvings are on the surface of the rock only and have no or very small chambers behind them!

Sometimes you can look at a thing a thousand times, and you think you know it - in photography and in life. Then you look at it from a different angle and it is new and different. This view of Mont Blanc from near the Aiguillette des Possettes was like that for me.

“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”
― John Muir

Sometimes in being lost it is easiest to find your way. That was the case in the forest on the Isle of Jura in Scotland, where the beauty of the woods was outdone only by its peacefulness.

Sometimes the heavens just line up - literally. The full moon rose above Mont Blanc in spectacular fashion just at sunset last night. I spent it sipping champagne with my wife partway up the mountain above our town. An incredible evening, one I won't soon forget.

Rainy days always get me looking for old pictures of sunshine and mountains. Found this gem yesterday, of Mont Blanc from the Grand Salève.
