I’m Danielle 👋
I’m the face behind the camera at Photography by Danielle.
I photograph families, newborns, small businesses and intimate elopements, but spend just as much time taking photos of my cat, kids & our everyday life, chasing toddlers, making people laugh and convincing dads that photos won’t be painful. I’m the content creator/ photo taker in my friendship groups.
I’ve got 10 years behind the camera, 10 years in early childhood education before that, and three kids of my own — so it’s fair to say very little surprises me anymore. They are 14,8 and 7. It’s WILD!!
A few things about me…
✨ I’m a little rough around the edges, but I’ve got a heart of gold.
✨ I run on soy lattes and the occasional cheeky bevvie.
✨ I love a good laugh and don’t take myself too seriously.
✨ I’m usually the one behind the camera because I actually hate being in front of it.
✨ But I still jump in photos with my kids because I know how much they’ll mean one day.
Most afternoons you’ll find me running between school pick-ups, netball, after-school activities and whatever chaos comes with raising three kids. Some days it’s enough to pull my hair out, but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love capturing the real stuff — the connection, the laughter, the chaos and all the little moments in between — and turning them into images you’ll treasure for years to come.
