Three weeks until 2026 Perth Royal Show week!
Horses in Action will be well covered again this year; and here is who will be covering you! Each arena will have a set photographer, plus most days we have a floating photographer to grab those extra special moments, the team/family shots and more.

Your media team for 2026 include:

Crescendo Clips- Videos for Show Jumping and Off the Track, plus she agreed to photograph for a breed day!!

Log Fence Show Jumping riders;
While working through the Wallangarra ODE registrations, I found that I missed completing 4 registered riders from Log Fence. I am terribly sorry for the oversight. These will be done this evening, however I do have a commitment at my kids' school. Definitely check your emails first thing tomorrow morning if you have been waiting on your photos. Apologies again.

Another full weekend all wrapped up...
With all the current pre-paid riders now complete, I am back working on the registration list. There are currently 63 horses on the registration list so I am hoping to get through them asap. Keep an eye on your emails as I will update you, with a link to your photos, when you're photos are complete.

Swan River Dressage Inc. does it again! A perfect match of beautiful competition, lovely weather, incredible sponsors and amazing prizes.

It has been a brilliant weekend at the final of the Swan River Dressage Series. In addition to a great competition, the committee did a fabulous job with the marquee for presentations, drinks and nibbles; how great was the spread yesterday and today?? Missed out? You'll have to return for 2027. There is a reason this event is always nominated for Equestrian Western Australia Event of the Year and 2026 was no exception!

Huge thank you to My Focused Photography and Eric Lloyd Photography for joining me over the weekend to cover so many dressage tests. I'll pop a flyer into the comments, so you know which photographer to check out to find your images.

2026 Perth Royal Show - Horses in Action
The media team has been finalised and we are all set for another brilliant Perth Royal Show, kicking off with the Show Jumping in exactly 4 weeks.

So sharpen those clippers or get out your curry combs, it's time to get serious about prepping your horses for one of the biggest and most exciting shows of the Year!

The schedule of photographers will be released shortly, however we welcome back Cheryl Hanrahan Photography, Crescendo Clips, Eric Lloyd Photography, Kelly Thomas Productions and My Focused Photography to ensure all the action is covered for Show week.

It's time for one more Swan River Dressage Inc. event for the year!

We have a great media team lined up again; along with myself on both days, we will have My Focused Photography on Saturday and Eric Lloyd Photography on Sunday. And not to jinx it, but have you looked at the forecast too?

Anyone who knows me, knows I HATE a blurry subject, even if it's just the legs, in photos... HOWEVER, Solar Medal was absolutely flying, with Grace Johnson on board, along the gallop track at the Wallangarra Riding and Pony Club ODE on the weekend so I'll forgive the blur because it shows the speed! No one else got blurry legs😂
