The birthday presents, the party invitations, the candles, the wrapping paper. Somehow Mum knows where absolutely everything is.

But ask to see a decent photo of her with the kids and suddenly we’re scrolling back to 2022. 😂

And even then, she’s probably holding someone’s shoes, a half eaten sandwich and three jackets.

For the love of God, take some photos of Mum too. And take more than one. We’ve all seen what happens when you only take one. 😂❤️

I think this is the bit that matters most to me.

Of course I want you to leave with beautiful photographs, but I also want you to leave thinking, “That was actually really fun.”

A bit more laughter, a bit less worrying about whether everyone is behaving, and perhaps Dad admitting it wasn’t nearly as painful as he expected 😂

If you leave happier than when you arrived, I’ve done my job.

That is the short version 😂

The longer version is that I love photographing pregnant bellies, babies, families and weddings, and I want every shoot to feel more like a fun experience than a series of stiff poses.

I’m Scottish, a mum of three, a teacher, and usually the person rolling around on the floor or making very strange noises behind the camera.
