In my garden in Main Arm

My partner and I were having a drink on our verandah and I looked down and said that I didn?t know that he planted a bromeliad down there.
He said that it was a pineapple!
(Pineapple?s are part of the bromeliad family, so I wasn?t completely wrong!)
I had never seen a red pineapple before, so I had to take photos.
This photo is a close up of the top of the pineapple, taken about three years ago with my iPhone 7 Plus

In my garden at Main Arm

I looked down off my verandah and saw what I thought was a bromeliad ( pineapples are of the bromeliad family) and my partner said it was a pineapple. I?d never seen a red pineapple, so of course, I had to take photos!
This particular photo is looking down on it.
Magical specimen 😊

Byron Bay Lighthouse

This photo was taken on October 11th, 2024, around 4:50 AM. However, it was the climax of a whole week, and specially the night from the 10th to 11th, of following the forecasts numbers. It all started with the X9.0 coronal mass ejection (CME) on October 3, followed by the X1.84 eruptive flare on October 9. By October 10th we had an official forecast from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for a G4 geomagnetic storm for the 10/11.
Canon EOS 7D Mark II, ISO2000, 10 seconds, Samyang 14mm f/2.8 Lens
