G'day friends ... come for a wander in the bush ... this time we head over to Nannup (inland from Busselton) ... to the Kondil Wildflower Park ... all natural ... n just so beautiful ... it's got a bit of everything for me ... water, trees n of course wildflowers ...
I was taking it gentle on my back after injuring it n didnt want to do much bending ... (all good now - thanks to my pain therapy specialist Stephen - THE best ... he works on my nervous system n he's just the nicest fella ever I reckon ... so grateful to him)
Now dont be surprised if I post a lot of pics ... cause you know me ... if I see something that grabs my attention ... I click ... it's my happiness therapy ... lol
After-note: 😳 Yep .. I did put a lot of pics up for this post but it's just all in one hit rather than doing it in several posts ...
Righto ... put on ya walking shoes ... n lets go see what we find ...

G'day friends ... come for a nice wander along the beach on Geographe Bay near Busselton ... it goes for miles n is mostly always calm ... but this day the wind was stirring up gentle little waves ... lots of tannin in the water from the breaking down of seaweeds from winter storms ...
It wasnt long til I got my eye in for some beach art ... oh I do love beach art ... so much to see on the shores ... keeps me totally fascinated ...
Righto ... enough dribble ... let's take a wander ... a nice gentle walk ... lovely day ... n loads of wonderful beach patterns n art ... well ... I think so anyway ... lol

G'day friends ... did a lovely little wander at Meelup a week or so back ... maybe more ... I do tend to loose track of time these days ...
Meelup is one of my fave spots for an explore for bush treasures ...
Bush treasures can be anything for me ... something of interest, something of beauty, something that just grabs my total attention until Im satisfied that I have enough pics of it ... I can get so absorbed in "treasure hunting" that hours n hours can go past n the only reference to time is my body telling me that it's had enough ... n time to go home ...
Im starting to tune in more finely these days with my body ... n what it can n cant do anymore ... or as well as it used to be able to do ... it's been a long learning curve for me ... to learn to rest the body (I've never really been a "rest-er") ... it's a fine balance between keeping active n resting an exhausted body (due to fibromyalgia) ... I only get a small window each day with which I can do my activities ...
Gosh ... enough of my dribble about my ailments ... but hey ... bits of info can help others too ... that's why I share about it ... certainly aint to gas-bag about myself ...
Let's have a nice wander in the bush n calm the nervous system n have a nice grounding session hey ...

G'day friends ... another excursion to the coast for another explore ... mostly to go see what the waves were doing ... I'm enjoying trying to capture waves (trying is def the operative word ... lol)
Taken at Indijup Spa area ... love the huge rocks there to scramble over - great for testing ya balance - n the waves that churn up the waters as they crash into the rocky shore ... further along is glistening shores of a long stretch of sand ... I aint walking that ... it will be so soft from all the pummelling of the waves onto the shore ...
The waves that day werent as big as I'd seen them ... but the still made that powerful roar as they crashed ... just something about seeing the waves crash ... so cool ...
Righto ... enough dribble ... let's take a look hey .. there's a few today ... to do in one post ...

G'day friends ... ooooo ... did I find some treasures the other day???? Yep ... I sure did ... 🌿🌸🌿🌸🌿
I decided to go for a wander in one of my "off the beaten track" places I go to from time to time ... not a soul around except me, the roos, loads of birds n little things that stir the leaf litter in their scurry to find a hiding spot from me ... 🦘🐦🦅🐜🪳🕸️🦎🦜
Ya never sure about seeing anything when you arrive ... takes a good few minutes to get ya 👀👀👀 in ... then dah-daaahh ... there they where ... ya seriously need magnified glasses to spot them theyre so tiny ... but oh how sweet they are ... yep ... I spotted some beautiful little flying duck orchids ... 🦆🦆🦆
Hey ... when ya spot these little beauties ya get super excited n do a little song n dance in the bush (like no ones watching) ... cause ...
1. theyre so hard to blimmin see
2. theyre so tiny
3. there's not too many around
4. ya hardly ever see them

So you can imagine my excitement when I saw the first little head of the flying duck orchid ... then seeing some that were actually opened n in their lovely little flying position ... n even some that were past their "fullness" ...
Gosh ... the simple n beautiful things in life cost so little ... just get in the car n go somewhere n go looking for anything that captures your imagination ... that's the thing that makes me happy ... not knowing what you'll see ... just soaking everything in around you ...
Honestly ... I reckon I'd go nuts if I didnt go bush or coast ... just anywhere outdoors ...
Anyway ... would you like to see some of the pics I took ... n have a little explore with me???

G'day friends ... a few pics I took at Canal Rocks on a day that the swell was fairly ripping through the channel ... ooo ... what a treacherous spot n ya gotta keep ya whit's about you ... but it's a fave spot both for locals n tourists alike ... didnt stay long as it began to rain n I didnt feel like getting wet .. (what a sook!!! 😅)
I enjoy seeing everyone climbing over all the big rocks there trying to get the best view n releasing their inner child in them for a little while ... I have to say .. I enjoy a clamber over the rocks myself ... although I do it a lot more slowly n carefully these days ...
Righto ... let's take a little wander n see what we can see ...
Oh yes ... I put in a few wildflower pics too ... took those on the side of the road along the way ...

G'day friends ... hope ya all doing well ... thought I'd stick my head in n show you some of our local delights I've come across on my wanders ... taken a little while back now ... gosh ... the first lot I never even got to finish them with my little borders etc ... I do that to entertain myself ...
First lot are from around Vasse on my wanders n the second half is a wildflower hot spot I went to check out ... didnt see much in the way of wildflowers but I always manage to find something that piques my attention ...
I'm heading up to Binningup for a couple of weeks soon ... look after my fur-nephew ... n wander the beach n bush up that way ... be a nice change for a bit ...
Again ... thanks for hanging in there with me ... I really appreciate you ...

G'day friends ... right ... from our lovely little wander at Witchcliffe I drove over to Redgate Beach ... just down the road 10kms or so ... I was in such a good mood after my forest walk ... so the coast was next on the list ... n it didnt disappoint ... I love watching the waves crash against the huge rocks there ... n the thunderous boom that happens when the waves hit it "just right" ... it was windy n the swell way a bit crappy ... but that's fine ... it's a day of just charging the battery for me ... n enjoying being outdoors again ...
N it's just like me to miss capturing the biggest waves crash ... but I did get a few shots ...

G'day friends ... oh crikey ... I couldnt stand to stay indoors another day ... just had to get out n get some blood moving n get those tightened up joints n ligaments loosened again ... knowing that I needed to take it slowly on my lower back area ... I decided to take a nice wander along the Wadandi track in Witchcliffe ... lovely spot for a nice forest bathe ... flat ground ... so should be ok ... n not too far ...
Oh gosh it was lovely ... just what I needed ... didnt go with intentions to take pics of every blade of grass n flower (like I normally do) ... but just to soak it in ... n take pics of things I dont have to get down on the ground for ... (unless absolutely necessary lol - yeah of course I did ... I came across an orchid ... lol ) ...
So not my usual bomb of pics ... but a nice little wander all the same ... n just what I needed ... certainly cleared my head ...

Hi friends ... thought I might show you some pics of a wander at Yallingup that I took ... a few weeks ago now ... had my little fur niece Rosie with me ... n we took a nice wander along the coastal path there ... it was a fabulous day n the waves were going off ... so of course I had to have a practice of taking pics of waves ... hmmm ... still need to work on my light ... among other things like camera settings ... will I ever "get it"? ... I dont know ... I just carry on regardless ... it's all about being outdoors for me ... taking in the scenery n treasures I see along the way ... gosh I'm hanging out to get back out there ... almost there now (I hope ...)
My camera has been sitting idle for a few weeks now ... most unusual for me I have to say ... but cant be helped just now ...
Righto ... let's have a gander at the walk we took ... be mindful ... there's lots of wave pics cause it was just amazing that day ...
Have a beaut weekend ... much love to you all for hanging in there with me ... I know I can be annoying with how many pics I post ... but just pass on by if it's not your cuppa tea ... all good ... we all float different boats ... lol ..
