Can’t sleep because my brain is trying to convince me that buying more gear will magically make me an even better photographer. Absolute BS.

A new camera won’t make my client feel safe enough to finally stop hiding her body. A more expensive lens won’t build trust. Fancy gear won’t hype someone up when they’re shaking with nerves 10 minutes before their photoshoot.

The thing that actually makes me a better photographer is holding space for women.

Creating an experience where my beautiful clients feel safe, seen, respected and comfortable enough to let their guard down. That matters more than having the newest camera body on the market.

That’s why I’ll always invest into improving myself too. Courses. Business education. Personal development. Learning how to communicate better. Learning how to guide better. Learning how to create an experience my clients never forget. ✨

Because people rarely remember what camera you used. They remember how you made them feel.

Better gear doesn’t automatically make a better photographer.

…but unfortunately it does help and I am still a little gear obsessed 🤦🏻‍♀️👀

This weekend at the PPBN Connect Conference on the Gold Coast reminded me why I love this industry so much.

Being in a room full of photographers from completely different genres, hearing everyone’s stories, connecting, laughing, crying a little (okay maybe a lot🙈), and walking away feeling inspired, motivated and fired up to keep growing… it felt magical.

There is something so powerful about being surrounded by people who get it. People who understand the passion, the pressure, the creativity, the self doubt and the drive to keep creating art that changes people’s lives.

Huge shoutout to my favourite boss b**ch ***ir for being so open, honest and generous with her knowledge. Years of business wisdom packed into one weekend and my brain is still processing it all. I am feeling overwhelmed but also so f*cking excited to implement what I learned and continue creating an even better experience for my amazing clients and making them feel like absolute baddies in front of my camera. 🔥

Big thank you to all the speakers and sponsors for sharing so openly and making this weekend so special. One of the highlights was definitely meeting the Nikon team and having an absolute blast at trivia night ❤️‍🔥

And of course, thank you and Mark Rosetto for making this happen. Forever grateful for bringing this community together. ✨

So many women avoid being in photos because they are scared they will only see the things they dislike about themselves.

Not realising how harshly they have been looking at themselves for years. 🥺

A little reintroduction for the new faces here ✨

Hi, I’m Alice, an aging millennial fuelled by coffee, obsessed with cats, and happiest when I’m somewhere near the beach.

Photography has been part of my life since I was 14, thanks to my dad, who always handed me a camera on our weekend trips and let me document everything. From there, I studied and completed my Diploma of Photography in my 20s, then gained so much experience working in regional television as part of the National Broadcaster back home in Slovenia 🇸🇮

Like most photographers, I started by photographing friends, families, couples, kids and pets. Then 9 years ago, I moved to Australia and started all over again from zero.

I won’t sugarcoat it, moving countries was hard. Missing my family, my friends, the life I knew, the comfort of home. It was a lot. But there has been so much beauty in that chapter too. I found my partner here, I got to work in news for a National Broadcaster in Brisbane, and I refined my camera skills even more through every wild, challenging, fast paced experience that came with it.

More than 5 years ago, I finally found the thing that lit me up in a whole different way: bo***ir photography.

Since then, I’ve been completely obsessed with improving my art, client experience, and the way I help women feel seen, safe, confident and powerful in their own skin. Bo***ir has the power of changing how my clients see themselves and it has changed me too. ✨

Outside of photography, I’ve also been doing pole for 10 years, which still blows my mind a little. I recently celebrated that milestone with a quick photoshoot, thanks to Lucy from . My next pole goal is consistently getting my true grip Ayesha’s. ❤️‍🔥

I love what I do. 🫶🏻 I love the messy, beautiful journey that got me here. And truly, I wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️

Take the photos now.

Because life will always be full. There will always be something to do, something to fix, something that feels more urgent than celebrating yourself.

I have had so many women tell me they almost didn’t book because they didn’t feel ready. Life felt too hectic. They did not have time to do their hair, their makeup, or make themselves feel “put together” enough. They thought they needed more time, more confidence, a better moment.

But you do not need to be more polished to be worthy of being seen.

You do not need the perfect body, the perfect timing, or the perfect version of yourself.

You already are enough.

Exactly as you are.
Right now.
In the middle of the chaos.
With the messy hair, the full calendar, the tired eyes, the soft belly, the real body, the real life.

That woman is still beautiful.
That woman is still worthy.
That woman deserves to exist in photos too.

Bo***ir is not about showing up perfect.
It is about showing up as you are and letting yourself be witnessed with love.

And one day, these photos will not just remind you what you looked like.
They will remind you that even in a season where life felt loud and heavy, you were still there.
Still beautiful.
Still powerful.
Still deserving of taking up space.

PS. This session was everything. We couldn’t stop laughing the whole afternoon. 😂❤️

✨ Grungy Pole Dance Minis ✨

Next Saturday, 11 April, I’m bringing the moody, gritty, smoky chaos to Gravity Pole Dance Academy in Ipswich and this one is for the pole dancers who want to capture their strength in a way that actually feels like them.

This Grungy Pole Dance Shoot is all about bold RGB lighting, smoke, attitude, shape, power, and those little moments where you realise just how far you’ve come in your pole journey. Whether you want to celebrate your strength, your flexibility, your confidence, or simply have photos that feel a little more edgy and a little less basic, this is your chance.

You’ll be able to choose the RGB light colours to suit your vibe and we can even change them during the shoot to match your outfit. You’ll also have one outfit change, full guidance with tricks and poses the whole way through, and your own private online gallery to choose your favourites from after the session.

This shoot is open to everyone, not just Gravity members, so if you’re from another studio and have been eyeing this off, you are absolutely welcome here too.

Your shoot includes a 30 minute photo session and 5 edited images.

Total investment is $350
$150 deposit to lock in your spot
Payment plans are available

Spots are very limited and once these are gone, I won’t be doing another pole dance shoot for a while.

If you want one of these, now is the time. Message me to book your spot.

I cannot believe I’m saying this but bo***ir sessions for 2025 are officially booked out. My heart is full. ❤️

If you’ve been thinking about stepping into your power this year, the only way in now is through Wet and Unapologetic Minis. 💦 There are only four spots left and this is your one chance to sneak in a mini session and actually have your photos in your hands before Christmas. 🎄

And yes, I 100% got inspired by that vintage phone at .sunrays. Sometimes the universe gives you props and you just run with it. 📞

If you want to feel seen and celebrated before the year ends, this is it. 🫶🏻

Now booking full bo***ir experiences from February 2026 onwards.
