Edeowie Station and Brachina Creek are great places to see it.

Barossa By Balloon, have you booked your ride yet?

The Barossa Valley Ballooning team provides a beautiful aviation experience. The feeling of gliding meters above the ground in total quiet is hard to describe.

I have been lucky enough to experience aviation in all of its forms, but seeing things gracefully in a balloon is still a special experience that should be on everyone's bucket list (and afterwards there is w**e!).

Falcon Heavy launch 30 Aug 2026.
I had the privilege to watch the Nancy Grace Roman space telescope safely launch on top of a SpaceX Falcon heavy rocket.

Public viewing is difficult close to these events and these photos were taken about 18 klm from the launch site.

After launch the two side boosters separated and returned to land back at Kennedy Space centre (I only have photo's of one).

Night skies in Barossa. It's cold out there but the view is amazing.
It's dark enough to see the whole Milky Way spread out at this time of the year, so stay up late, sleep late and find a w**ery with a fire the next day.
