STATERA Full Frame+ 1.5x Vintage Look Anamorphics

35, 40, 50, 75, 95 and 135mm

A collaboration by Ancient Optics and Old Fast Glass, with construction by Gloria

This is a very special, next level, set of lenses.
These lenses are inspired by the most legendary Anamorphic lenses from the 1970s and 1980s: Todd AO, Cineovision, Technovision and Nippon Scope.

The STATERA lenses are very flattering on your subject, especially on close-ups, with very little distortion and excellent minimum focus. Field curvature is kept in check and resolution is great right to the edge, allowing multiple characters and elements to feature across your frame.

Classic single-layer coatings are employed to deliver gorgeous organic flares without becoming too saturated or distracting. 15 blade irises are used to maintain perfectly oval Bokeh, even when stopped down. Bokeh has a Petzval style swirl towards the edges of frame.

3 x Lens, 4 x Lens and 6 x Lens Set Now available for rental from The Front
